It was my first time at Paragon and now I have orange hair:(I had my hair cut and colored by April Desabrais and it was one of the worst color experiences I have ever had. The cut is nice but the color is a disaster and ORANGE. I originally went in to get a darker ash brown to even out some of the color where my natural roots and old color had grown out. I had blonde ends and wanted to try and keep those but even out the middle towards my natural color. I specifically told her I HATED warm tones and liked the more greenish ash brown. She used a permanent color with a VIOLET based brown. As soon as I saw it I knew it was warm and lighter than my original root color. I made an appointment to come back a few days later and she put more of a semi/demi gloss over it. I thought she was going to use a greenish brown color to cancel out what happened but when I reminded her of that choice she then informed me that she didn’t even have any green tints. She went with a blueish chrome but the second round didn’t really seem to color very evenly. She also left color on my forehead which stained me and left mark. After the second try she agreed it still wasn’t right. I was going to give her a third shot but luckily all my friends advised me to go somewhere else. I also said that I though the less permanent color would just fade and it would go back to the lighter shade but of course she argued it wouldn’t. This is never my experience with a semi/demi… they always fade after awhile. I got her to agree to give me my money back although at first she tried to point out that she did the second round for free. She did give me the money back for the color but now I am left with orange hair. I went to a few others places for consultation and they advised me to wait as long as possible for coloring again so that the natural roots can come through a bit for color matching. I tried but since the color continues to fade and show the brassy orange I can’t wait at all. I have attached a series of photos so you can see the fading and final orangish NIGHTMARE I have going on now. I can’t add photos to this review but I have take a bunch. I don’t want to post them to their salon page unless they ask. They are all under my profile pictures .I absolutely did not alter any photos and took them on my little tiny phone in as many different natural lights as possible. I saw some nice color and cuts come out of this studio in general but my experience was AWFUL!

Went to Paragon for the first time today, & upon walking in the door I discovered it is a clean, relaxing, & professional environment for salon/spa related services. The mood & atmosphere in the building is very relaxing & inviting. My reason for my visit was to get a facial, upon suggestions & word of mouth from friends I visited Christiana. She is the resident on site esthetician & welcomed me with a friendly smile. The spa room was very clean & organized, & was very relaxing. Christiana ensured that my experience was relaxing & catered my facial to my skin type & needs for helping improve my general skin health & well-being. She was very professional & knowledgable in her services as well as the products she utilized. My skin has never looked or felt better. I will absolutely be back as a repeat client &HIGHLY recommend Christiana & Paragon Design to anyone looking for a fantastic day of pampering & beauty.

This place is classy and professional. Erin is an excellent stylist, amazing with color. They have a color bar where you get your color done, and even offer you beverages when you come in.
