After what was simply a horrifying dental experience that triggered a chain reaction of unplanned dental work and doctors visits I am finally sitting down to write a review. The office itself and the hygienists are fantastic, I had been a patient for just about 2 years. I was recommended to get a crown on my front tooth and was advised that doing both front teeth would be best cosmetically, procedure was simply explained and I never thought I would undergo 4 plus hours of drilling, 14 lidocaine injections, 7 different molds all at the hands of an insensitive doctor who never once asked if I was okay, I left with in tears and a very numb face with noticeable swelling. Over the course of the night my swelling increased to a severe point, upon going back to the dentist that morning. I was advised it was just a «allergy» and should subside with Benadryl. The swelling increased and I ended up at an allergist and my family doctor the next day. after lots of testing I was told it was a «trauma» swell and it was not an allergic reaction. I again followed up with the office to advise of this. They understood that I lost a week of work and offered to refund all my cost of the crowns along with an apology from Dr. Bielke who explained he was quite flustered that day and asked that I give him a 2nd chance when my crowns arrived. Crown placement day came. It took almost an hour to chip off the temporaries as they used permanent cement the day when they had put them in. The new crowns were quite larger than my original teeth and literally sat in front of my others, they were obviously the wrong color. Dr. Bielke became very agitated on my plea that I really didn’t want buck teeth and worked on filing down what was left of my teeth to try and make them fit and filling down the crowns down himself instead of offering to send them back to the lab. They lost my original mold of my teeth so there was nothing left to compare it too. He was very rude and demeaning during this whole appointment, I left in tears after he said that was all he could do and that I just wont be happy no matter what. Within two weeks I was back at a new dentist getting an emergency root canal on the crowned good tooth because he had done too much work to the tooth. Obviously I scheduled with a new dentist and I am currently working to have new crowns put on my front teeth. The whole experience itself was devastating… only to be followed up with a measly bill for materials used at Dr. Bielkes office. If you are looking for a compassionate dentist keep looking.

Dr. B is fantastic. I am a big baby, and he’s always fabulous. His entire staff is excellent. The facility is very, very nice. His prices are reasonable. Dental procedures can be a bummer, but Dr. B makes it all much easier.

Have been a long time customer, until recently experiencing a root canal gone bad while out of town. Had a dentist do what he could for me. Coming back to see Dr. B only to have him do more work at a much higher rate than the out of town dentist charged me. I still need another crown thanks to another root canal i had done that was not necessary. Will be looking for another Dentist that charges a more reasonable rate.
