A beautiful and quiet beach on Shelter Island. This beach is only 15 miles from Southampton but a world away in terms of the solitude and low key people.

A clean and safe beach with a bathroom. Life guarded and roped off area makes it a safe spot for all ages. With lots of boating activity one can never be too safe. Lots of parking in a huge, PERMITONLY, parking lot. Don’t even try it. Shelter island residents will turn you in. After all it’s their parking spot. But if you can get to Wade’s Beach via kayak, bike or car pool you will love it. We kayaked about 6 miles the day we went and it was a gorgeous little trip.
