Creative menu with lots of options for a chain. almost too many to sift through. Did takeaway service for dinner. Items were just as described by server on phone. She accommodated dietary restrictions(which doesn’t always happen especially takeout). She was friendly and helpful on phone and upon pick up. A solid dinner and a step above most chains. We dined here a couple of years ago and frankly the meal was a disaster w poor service & incorrect orders. We returned now and were pleased to see the improvements in service and food. We’ll be back.

My coworkers and I come here a lot when we’re in town, and we love it. The ambience is nicer than your average Chili’s and the waitstaff have always been courteous. Somehow, despite all the other 5-star, non-chain restaurants in the area, Chili’s wins out at least once every trip.

Very average corporate franchise operation. Food’s good, not great; service is generally good, not great; ambience is corporate plastic; noise level depends on the number of parties with little kids. They have ordering kiosks. I guess the objective is to eliminate tipping. If I order by computer and my food is delivered by a human, is he/she a waiter or a runner? And isn’t food delivery that person’s job, so why am I am tipping?

We waited over a half hour for our food. If it wasn’t that there was a snowstorm out there we would have left. The food was not that great either.

This place served as the last option for dinner as we had arrived pretty late at night. Lot of menu options but the chicken chipotle flatbread was really good(but the portion size was a bit too large!). The onion rings were not at as spicy as claimed in the menu. overall a decent option for late night dinner

Horrible customer service. My party of 7 wasn’t properly taken care of and we waited an hour patiently. We just got up and left. One of the most upsetting visits ever. Waitress was very unprofessional and never even gave her name for reference. I’m usually a big fan of The Chilis chain but I will NEVER come back to this Shelton location again. They lost ALL of my business.

Ok so usually not a big fan of this chain. But one day hubby and I find ourselves hungry and only this as an option late at night. Went in with great trepidation and we were in for quite a surprise. We had the new fried pickles. Not too greasy but oh so tasty! Fajitas and the chicken quesadilla were next and they were delicious. The chicken was tender and the sides on the fajita were actually fresh. Second time too we were pretty happy with our experience. The servers were pretty considerate too. Will definitely go back

We had a party of 5 with two children. The food was average, but the service was slow.

DONOT even bother to come here. After reading the other reviews for this place, I have to offer my negative review. My husband and I arrived on a Tiesday night at 7:30 and sat at the bar for a quick dinner. Got our drinks and ordered. A couple sat next to us about 10 minutes later, got their drinks, appetizers AND dinner while we were still waiting for our meal. We did not order appetizers. We spoke to the waitress and she checked in the kitchen. She told us it would be out in two minutes. They may have over-cooked the steak, she wasn’t sure, but she would send the manager right over. We gave her five minutes and when no manager and no food arrived, we left. Obviously by the other reviews, this Chili’s is so busy anyway that they really don’t care if the service is good or not, and their manager can’t be bothered. Maybe there is no manager! The waitress/bartender seemed overworked or just tired of being there. We will never go to this place again.

Just loved this place! Exactly what you’d expect from a Chilis. Always crowded on the weekends.

The tortilla chips are WAYTOOSALTY!!! When we asked for unsalted chips or lightly salted, we were informed that they just come pre packaged like that. Bummer. I like salt but it was ridiculous. Entrees very good. Food came out quickly. Sat at the tables along the windows and it was a tight squeeze. They need to remove a table in that area. Hostesses were nasty! Poor first impression. Stone faced and unwelcoming. Wait staff attentive.

Service at the bar sucks. Michelle came and asked me what I wanted to drink. I said iced tea and ordered chips & salsa. Got the iced tea quick but then no chips. She came back and asked if I was ready to order. Said I’d like the chips first and would decide. 10 minutes later no chips. People who came in after me had their meal. She stopped by again to see if I was ready to order, I asked if she put in the order for the chips and she said she gets it… wtf I said close me out for the iced tea I’ll go next door to Longhorn Steakhouse. Never going back there. She spent most of her time at a table that must have been regulars or friends. Many choices around here to spend my money!

AMAZINGPLACE! Raquel – Me and My Girlfriend both agreed that she is the best staff in chili’s. Everyone else is friendly but the way people are treated at this location is amazing in a positive way. Food is really fresh, oh man I really wish I remembered what they were serving but all i know is that you tell them what your in the mood for and they’ll tell you what you should order. Beer – They have a great selection, I had Dos XX’s(i think i spelled it right) Location – is great, beware it gets really packed on the weekends! Place is CLEAN I sat the Bar and everyone else is really friendly! KEEPUPTHEGOODWORK!

Surprisingly good for this type of chain restaurant. Food is good, fast and cheap(especially during happy hour 4 – 6). Staff is friendly but not overbearing — they leave you alone but are attentive if you know what I mean?

LOL — my mother could not believe her ears when I told her I ventured into a Chili’s! It was fun. it was an adventure. It was like I was on a secret vacation somewhere. Eating in an American chain mall restaurant made me feel as if I were really part of Americana culture — what a delightful treat! I sat at the bar and the wait staff truly could not be nicer and more friendly and were ecstatic to hear it was my first time at a Chili’s. They all get a 10 — they really do — super sweet enthusiastic people. What also gets very high marks are the exciting Happy Hour margaritas for $ 5 and under — how can you even beat those crazy prices? :-) My fresh lime margarita was an absolute delight. Food doesn’t score as high and it was very difficult to conjure up meatless dishes. What I ordered seemed to be fresh at the time, but when I got home my stomach ached the rest of the night, so not sure what was in there. $ 20 for my adventure — like the price of the movies, which it was to me — watching how people partake in the dining mall of America, I’m grateful to have experienced it. :-)

Confession: I’ve never been to a Chili’s. Growing up in So. Cal, it’s always been avoided just because there was always somewhere else you could get baby back ribs or real Mexican food for cheaper. With the lack of Mexican options in this area, Chili’s just had to do for the night. For a weekday the place was surprisingly packed and parking was somewhat tricky. Taking the ‘Call Ahead’ option is a must. Unless you like waiting around to be seated at Chili’s for a good 30 min.+ Aside from the fajitas, I found the food to be okay. Just okay. The baby back ribs didn’t exactly fall off the rib like it’s marketed. I liked the carne asada that came with the fajitas more than the baby back ribs because the meat was tender and tasty — just like it is at home. I suppose, «I want my car né car né car né car né asada, Chili’s carne asada!» isn’t as catchy as, «I want my baby back baby back baby back baby back…» Service was okay. Our server was all kinds of nice, but the experience felt rushed. The shrimp part of my meal was supposed to come with sauce, but it didn’t. The booth behind us had their order screwed up. This particular Chili’s location doesn’t perform well when busy. Speaking of booths — they’re wayyyy too small. I’m of a healthy average build, yet I found it uncomfortable to be sharing the booth with another person because it felt cramped. If you’re bigger than average, stay away from the booths.
