I have been in before and the only reason to come back has been the Cones. Tonight on free cone day my wife and I were refused our free cones. The store during the middle of the day decided that their drive thru times were taking too long and so TANNER, the assist mngr, decided no free cones thru the drive thru. They did not post anything any where about it. My wife was buying a $ 4 waffle cone and still no honoring the free cones. Even though I was stuck in the drive thru behind two other cars and could not back up because of the car behind me. So Tanner would rather argue and dishonor the free cone and make me come in the store after waiting in line behind others. I won’t be back and will actively urge others to not patronize this place.

Not even one star. My husband stopped by at 10pm for a large order of fries, and a bacon cheeseburger. Fries were ice cold and soggy, and his burger was soggy and luke warm at best. I understand it was an hour before closing but that’s no excuse for disgusting food. And definitely not what someone deserves after a ten hour shift, it doesn’t matter if it’s «late» for you guys. that was his dinner. Will not be returning for a very long time, which is disappointing considering I’ve loved this place all my life. Really sad.

Went to dairy queen here in shelton for dinner. I haven’t had it in a long time and normally love their food(especially the chicken strip basket!) Ive only had ice cream from this particular restaurant. I ate about 2 bites and tossed it. Curtis got a ¼ lbs grillburger. Took 2 bites and tossed it. All the food was cold and obviously old. The fries were like rubber and cold. My gravy for my chicken is one solid mass of grossness… you can see where they scraped it off the bottom… I’m so grossed out. Not to mention that the girls weren’t super friendly and the service is excruciatingly slow. And there’s no ice in our sodas! This place is an over priced joke. I guess I’m going to have to go out of town if I ever want decent dairy queen food.

I’ve been to this Dairy Queen a few times, and I’ve had poorly prepared food before, but today eats the cake. I asked if I could get a sandwich that is normally only part of a five dollar meal, but I didn’t want the extras. The girl at the register made an honest mistake and rang me up for the most expensive burger on the menu, and I told her that’s not the burger I was asking for. She was nice and quickly realized what I really was asking for. She asked another girl, and that girl got the run-down and proceeded to purposefully ring me up at the inflated price of a much larger burger, making the mistake of actually saying out loud what she was ringing up. The sandwich I was asking for was a tiny little cheap burger and I expected to pay very little for it. I decided if I was going to pay that much, I’d just get the big burger, and ordered that instead. It arrived at my table terribly under-cooked, and I’ll never go back. I highly recommend passing up this dairy queen. If it wasn’t a conspired plan to give me a pink burger, it would have to have been sheer negligence, which is equally fucked.

The employees are terribly slow and there is no a/c in the lobby. My other half wanted extra stuff in the blizzard and didn’t get it. Almost waited a half hour for two blizzards. Gross! Big fat F!

The french fries are ALWAYS blonde, limp and disgusting.(They are supposed to be crispy) I try to stay away from them. The desserts are good but they are very skimpy on the hot fudge sauce. If you decide to order a blizzard, stick with the smaller sizes because if you order the larger sizes all you get is a huge amount of white vanilla soft serve at the bottom. The service is very slow through the drive thru. And one last note for the owner and or manager who is making the decisions to NOT accept the national coupons from the website(Blizzard Fan Club), big mistake, only in Shelton, Wa have I ever had this problem. Most people who come to a restaurant with a coupon will actually spend more money on other things that are not for the coupon, so you actually get people in the door and make money in the long run.

Bad, even by Dairy Queen standards. The person in front of us in the drive-thru took quite awhile. Apparently, they had made our ice cream ahead of time anyway, and then let it sit on the counter while the person in front of us waited for their food to cook. The picture of my peanut butter blast was taken less than 2 minutes after it hit my hands. Trust me, it looked like that when it was given to me. The employees need to ask themselves, «Is that the way I would want MY ice cream to look?» before handing it to a customer.

I took my toddler grandson here a couple of days ago for sundaes. They have recently remodeled and the place looks new and clean which is always a plus. I placed the order for one med sundae with hot fudge($ 2.79), and one small choc sundae(think is was $ 2.39) and we went to sit at a booth. The sundaes arrived very quickly which I appreciated since I was with a toddler! Disappointed to see that it was just the ice cream and the choc/fudge topping. I guess the days of chopped nuts and a cherry are gone. Seems like they could put a little more effort out to add these to what looked liked very naked sundaes. Still do enjoy their blizzards though.

Eh, it’s a Dairy Queen. The service is good, but slow. It’s usually sub-par on the cleanliness scale, and the food is addicting and delicious. Gotta knock it off with that gravy though, seriously. =\

Service was pretty slow, but usually Dairy Queens are terrible and this one was adequate. Gotta have that Blizzard!

The parking lot in this place can be a bit confusing, but the Blizzard was awesome here just like it is at every other location. They used to do a thing at the DQs where they would briefly hold the Blizzard upside down to demonstrate the awesome hold of the thickness of the thing — gravity defying — but I don’t know if they did this here or if they do it anymore. I think the intelligent design people used this demo as proof that gravity does not really exist. Or something.
