Horrrrrrrrrrrrrrible place. The worst 59 Diner we’ve gone to. My boyfriend and I went there on Christmas day around 2pm. They were not crowded and there were plenty of parking spaces which is why we chose to stop there. We were seated by a male host and waited at our table to order. After about 5 minutes of not being acknowledged by any waitstaff the host came to our table and asked if we had been taken care of and he ended up bringing us our drinks; one water and one Dr. Pepper. There were only 3 other booths in our section that were occupied, one table had their food and shortly after, another had their appetizers. The young waitress kept walking around between the booths and never even looked at us… not even a nod. Needless to say after 20 minutes of sitting there, completely ignored, we walked out. Never to return. The best thing I have to say about that place IS the fact that they ignored us so we could leave without spending a dime there. We ended up going to the 59 Diner in Houston and on Christmas day they were hopping busy! But we love that particular 59 Diner and like every time we go to that location we received the best service. Most attentive waitstaff and great food. It was festive, fun and enjoyable. Choose wisely and make sure your dining experience is worth the time and money spent. You all are better than this place, and deserve much better than THIS particular 59 Diner.

So disappointing. I ordered migas with refried beans and they gave me black eyed peas. What? The waitress kind of apologized and said the kitchen is «working it out.» She brought me cold beans after I was almost finished with the migas. When I told her that the beans were cold and I wasn’t going to eat them, she just said«OK.» Wait staff need to care more than that! This location is doomed; so many restaurants have been here and closed. I probably shouldn’t have ordered migas at a Diner, but it’s on their menu so they should know how to make it well. I wanted to talk to someone other than our waitress but the manager was no where in sight. Black eyed peas should never be mistaken for refried beans!!! And yet I paid full price. Our waitress said«come back and see us.» Sorry, that’s not likely.

My husband took me here for breakfast yesterday and I thought it was good. We had a great waiter, it was inexpensive and quick. The restaraunt was clean and I thought it was pretty. I will go again.

There was a wait to be seated. Not because they were busy but because they didn’t have enough wait staff. We almost left but we decided to wait and check it out. The waiters were sitting around at the bar area playing with the manager. The manager was gripping that she had to work so much. The food took over an hour to come out… I guess they were short in the kitchen too. I got some type of stuffed chicken. It had sat there for a little while and was not good. We asked for chocolate shakes. They were out of chocolate syrup. The décor is about all this place had going for it.

A friend and I decided to check this place out since we had heard about how delicious the chain was. It’s brand-new, so I wasn’t sure what I expected. We ordered breakfast, and it was really good and came super fast. The waitress was young, but very attentive and polite. She asked a few too many times if we were doing okay, but I’d rather that than not being asked at all. Only downsides were the heat(a/c didn’t seem to be working) and the décor. The art on the walls was super cute, but perhaps the tables and seating could have a more diner-like feel? Overall, I’ll go again some other time, to see how they’ve grown as a restaurant. I want to see them succeed!

5 of us met for breakfast this morning. What a disappointment. One of our party sent his eggs back twice and they still were not cooked. My order did not come out until 8 minute’s after the other 4 individuals in my party(We all ordered at the same time). The toast was hard, the grits were runny, but the coffee was good. The service was not bad, but not great. I am sure we will not return

Tried to order over the phone on lunch break. Because they can’t process payments over the phone, they do not take to go’s over the phone. Lost my business. I was hoping to try it out since I work nights at the hospital nearby. They expect me to wait my whole lunch break for my food. Not going to happen. Maybe when they update their business.

I don’t even know where to begin. On Sunday 7⁄26 I brought a table of six(family and friends) and long story short it took over an hour to get our food, all of which was brought out piecemeal over a 15-minute stretch. It was not a good meal and the waitress did nothing but apologize for something I don’t think was her fault. I echo the reviews of others herein who commented on the obvious lack of leadership. I could go on and on, but will save my time. 59 Diner has been a very good restaurant elsewhere. The management and ownership had better get their two best managers and 10 best servers from other locations over to this location immediately to right this ship or it’s all over. At least I was amused by the site of one of the«cooks» wearing a T-shirt that had«Gino’s East Pizza» on. I wish I had gone there instead.

Waited about 10mins to be seated and it was not busy. Host that we were greeted by was apologetic but said they were short staffed and that he was actual the bus boy filling in two jobs. Restaurant was very hot and it didn’t feel like ac was working efficiently. Took about 20 mins to get our milkshakes and was told that we couldn’t have tea because the machine was«smoking». We were only given a few napkins after having to request them. We had to ask for silverware and refills for our drinks. Food was not as good as fast food and we were really disappointed. We asked for two to go boxes for the kids hamburgers and were told that they were out of them. It was just one bad think after another! Restrooms were out of paper towels and filthy.

Food just OK. Service was fine but the waiter must have been new. She asked us 50 times if we needed anything else.

Horrible experience! We waited forever for a table even though there were many tables available. It took a long time to get our drinks & order taken. My mother & I ordered burgers which came out cold, greasy and all around inedible. We complained to the waiter, he said he would let the manager know. After sitting there long enough for our other family member finish their meal the manager never came. Finally after tracking her down and complaining she had an attitude and flat out told us the burgers were not good and that they use frozen patties. She said she would take half off of our meal. I was shocked, I sure didn’t eat half. Looks to me this is just another failed restaurant for this location!

Don’t waste your time. Ordered a chocolate shake but got something unidentifiable. BLT was tasteless, untoasted and Lukewarm. French fries were limp and cold. Service was slow. Too many great places in The Woodlands to bother going back.

My dining experience: –Wait staff fighting at the hostess stand as we arrived. –No a/c –I paid 10.29 plus tax for«California Benedict» that arrived without bacon or toast. I reported this to the waitress and manager and after 45 minutes paid and left without either. –busboy plops his dirty dripping dish bucket on my table to clear my dish while my dining partner was still eating. –2 management type men stopped at my table, sympathized and apologized but resulted in no fix of my issues. –the quality of the food was awful, worst hashbrowns I’ve ever eaten(that is the portion of my meal that actually arrived). –After all of this a manager did offer us a turkey dinner to go(?) but having other plans for the evening I politely refused. Chaos, and if the management was at all truly apologetic could they not have at least comped my tea? I mean, I did after all pay for food that never arrived. Awful customer service, awful food. So not like the other 59’s.

We went to their grand opening today at the urging of my daughter. It was already lunch time but we all had breakfast. The décor is very nice & inviting. There is a lot of light and not dark. It looked very clean. I used to bathroom and it was very clean. The breakfast items we ordered was a veggie omelet, pancakes, French toast, eggs & bacon and it was all good. They had lots of waiters or attendants that were ensuring everything was ok. The owner-operator, Jessica came to our table and introduced herself and asked us how the food was. This is a definite must try! We live in the area so it was a nice break from From the usual places we go to.
