Rebecca Kellogg! She is the most helpful and caring individual. The first day I met with her, she helped me fix my resume so it is more effective. And thats when she had my full trust!
From there on she got me countless interviews and helped me prep for them in person and over the phone. She was always excited about every opportunity she had for me which made me more confident for the interviews.
Well, after several interviews, she got me an interview with a job that I fell in love with! It was at the pay rate that I had mentioned to her and the entire job is just perfectly fitting. She knows exactly where you would be a great fit.
Until now she will check up on me and ask if everything is working out fine. Just a perfect agent and great person overall! I actually sent a feiends resume straight to her so she can help him too!

Rebecca Kellogg is a wonderful rep that I was so pleased to work with. She really wants to get to know an individual and wants them to see them get a position that really fits! Within a week I was getting job interviews and follow ups, definitely recommend !

Another typical employment agency that wastes your time. I highly doubt that the positive reviews are from actual people who found employment through them, I would not be surprised if family, friends and staff at AppleOne were forced to post positive reviews.
If you call or reach out to this agency you will often hear: Rep so and so is in a «meeting», or that rep «just» stepped out, or let me take your number and the rep will call you right back.
For a staffing agency and their requirements they defiantly fall short of most of them by not being responsive and lack of follow through.
I would never recommend anyone to this agency. They are terrible.

The rep, Tamika Hill was warm and very helpful with me. She helped me improve my views on my mediocre resume, by the time we were done she improved my confidence about it and in the work ethic qualities I did in fact posses.
Furthermore she fulfilled and did everything she said she would do for me. She emailed out to companies that I was specifically looking for and she got me a temporary job within weeks of applying.
I am still with the company and so far I am happy with the results.

I have really enjoyed my experience with AppleOne! All of the associates have been professional and eager to help. All of me emails and calls are answered promptly. I have had an especially wonderful experience with Tiffany W., her level of professionalism is outstanding. I would recommend this branch to anyone looking for employment.

When I was thinking of changing careers, I was recommended to give Apple One a try. It was a mixed bag of good and bad reviews in terms of the company as a whole. I decided to try this particular office in November 2015.
It starts off pretty basic. You are scheduled in for an «interview». Paperwork is filled out, computerized assessment tests, and a sit down with your talent advisor. My advisor was Tiffany W. From the first second, I began to have misgivings. As she when over my resume, she punctuated every other word with «umm, yeah» with barely any energy or enthusiasm. I took it all in stride and updated my revised resume that night.
This is the point where everything went sour. Two weeks of silence would go by. So I emailed Tiffany. She recommends I take the assessment test again to increase my excel score. I did it immediately. Two more weeks of silence before I emailed. She informs me that she is still looking. Weeks of silence before I email her again. This time no response. Weeks go by again. So I call the office and ask to be switched to a different advisor. Now i have an Ashley J. as an advisor. She responds quickly with the first email so I felt better. The next email was delayed due to a family emergency, could she give me a call the next day? No problem. FIVE WEEKS LATER, nothing.
So I found a job on my own with no help from the Sherman Oaks Apple One. This has been a nightmare and a headache. For anyone job searching, I would advise against adding this to your stress. There are way better sources out there. Good luck on your job hunt.

Apple One was initially good for me. Lately, not so much.
As others have said, they don’t have nearly as many jobs as they advertise. Luckily, I was able to score a job in a couple months (which is amazing compared to other reviewers on here). My rep was very nice and friendly. But a week into the job, it was clear that these reps are not trained and not knowledgeable about basic info.
They’ve made three big mistakes that have led to a lot of run around and headaches for all involved.
First: I signed up for direct deposit. My rep told me to fill out the application by a certain date. I turned it in before that date. She sent it to someone who sent it to someone who «forgot» to file it. Therefore, I had no direct deposit! I had to get a payment card, and go through that whole thing.
Next: No one told me the direct deposit re-​assignment would take 2 weeks. Therefore, I again did not get my direct deposit and had to get a payment card check, which is even more a headache to deposit than the card.
Finally: There is a new law about sick days for temps. It came into effect in July. So I understand that it is new and no one had taken advantage of it yet in the Sherman Oaks office before me. But I was given completely wrong information! I was under the impression that I had accrued sick days, based on what my rep explicitly told me, when in fact I wasn’t. So subsequently, I have taken two sick days because I thought I could afford to miss them, when really I just lost two days of pay!
Over the last week trying to figure out this whole sick day thing, I have been transferred from person to person to person and no one knows what they are doing. If Apple One ever reads this: PLEASE TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES TO MAKE SURE THEY GIVE THE CORRECT INFORMATION TO THEIR CLIENTS!
TL:DR No one knows what they’re doing and they have caused me to lose pay by giving me incorrect information.

Apple One posts fake ads online to entice people in signing on with them. Once you sign on, the work disappears. I accepted a one-​day assignment which required 50 people for inventory, and all the workers I spoke with said the same exact thing. My recruiter, «T», only wanted information on where I had been applying and/​or interviewing for jobs so she could market Apple One to these companies — a very shady business practice! I have 10+ years experience in office management, scored 97% and 100% in their tests, but after a month they can’t place me anywhere? Do NOT waste your time on this company!!! It is a scam to increase their profits, which is why there are so many negative reviews online.

Apple One used to be a rather ‘stand-​up’ agency — 10 years ago. I’ve been on the search for PT /​Temp work and I’m finding that there are no jobs available from clients signed with the Sherman Oaks branch. Several jobs that are not at their branch which I’ve inquired about — my rep at S.O. is pretty non-​responsive. She’s also out of the office a lot and no one else can seem to help. Left a succinct message last Tuesday. By Friday, still no reply.
So there’s little to no coordination between Apple branches. It’s not clear to me if I can call the folks at the other agencies myself to inquire since Sherman Oaks isn’t helpful, but they won’t answer the question if this is ok — since it’s all Apple.
I remember when I interviewed, the rep mentioned several times things like: «one last thing… ‘…so we can get you out of here’, ‘…and we’ll get you on your way’, ‘…let you go finish your day’ «. I was thinking, «Am I fidgeting?, Do I look like I need to go, or do I instead look like I want work?» Just thought it was weird. I should have known that was the clue this team is lacking.
Sadly, other agencies aren’t much better — but at least they weren’t trying to push me out of there. One goal they all have is to make their agency look like it has the most jobs for candidates and the largest pool of talent for employers. Another façade.
Keep trying «Talent»! There is work out there — just not sure if Apple’s going to be the one to help you find it.

If you are seriously looking for work, you need to register with the professionals at AppleOne! I worked with Marleth Lobato and the amazing team in the Sherman Oaks Office.
The AppleOne network is robust. Once you register, you can easily search and apply for jobs in a variety of locations. Using the network allowed me to be a partner in finding the best fit for my skills and experience. Marleth worked with recruiters in several offices to set up interviews with businesses that I was interested in.
I am working, thanks to Marleth and the professionals at AppleOne.

I was initially worried about going to an employment agency again, but after months of no job, I was desperate. I had submitted applications for postings with other agencies but nothing, and was surprised that Apple one had the option online to schedule an interview.
And well, that was the best choice I’ve made in the longest time.
Since then, I’m employed, on assignment close enough to home, with a good company, good co-​workers, and amazing position as close to what I actually want to do as possible.
Aside from that, my recruiter, Donnisha, is amazing. I mean, I can’t really speak for everyone in the office since I’ve only really worked with her, but I can’t believe how nice she is and how much she seems to care.
I had worked with other agencies in the past and it was whatever, not horrible, but not the best either. The last one even had me interview and then never call me back. After a while, I gave up with them too.
But this Apple One so far has been great. I greatly recommend it.
Donnisha checks up on how I’m doing every now and then, which is awesome, I can easily reach her if anything happens, and even so, she keeps track of things (I accidentally submitted my timecard mid week and figured, «Its 6, they are closed, I’ll call tomorrow to see if they can pull it back…» within the hour she called me to see if there was something wrong. That is awesome, in my opinion), and she calls if there are any weekend assignments (currently on weekday work, so weekends I’m free) I may be interested in, yet not pushy if I’m not.
All of this, within a month of that initial interview.
I could not feel more lucky to have started with them, and I greatly recommend them to anyone looking.

The person who help me I found was very helpful, considerate, and did her best to point me n the right direction to get me the type of job I wanted in the locations and type of work I am interested in doing.
Audrey V. I found customer service and caring nature equal to that of The Belligio Hotel in LV, simple 5 Star ***** excellence. Audrey V takes her time with you, does not make you feel rushed, and really pays attention to where you want to work and tries to help you end up where you want to be.

THis company is a sham. I went in, took tests, submitted all paperwork they needed. Did not hear back for years. I called today asking them to help me and AGAIN they want me to go take the same tests!!! WHY? What happened the 1^st time I took all these test. Nothing has changed in my status or work history, WHY do I need to GO IN again and provide them with the SAME information they already have??? RIDICULOUS

My own experience with them was so disappointing. After applying here for more than a year, They never call or follow up with an applicant. I kept on emailing and calling but in vain. Just don’t have high hopes when you apply here, they seem nice and very promissing to start with but they don’t have much to offer.

When I initially partnered up with Apple One I was really excited as the reps are very nice and knowledgeable. What I did like about this particular Apple One is the effort they make to really get to know you to try to find jobs that would match your personality and skill set. Another great perk is that they do interview preps with you before you go out on an interview appointment and cater that prep to that specific job and it’s requirements which I think is great.
However, that’s pretty much where it ends. What greatly displeased me is how extremely pushy they are for you to go out on assignments regardless if it interferes with your current schedule. I was very clear with my rep that I was still working part time so I needed to go on appointments around my current work schedule. So, I found it very tacky and inconsiderate that he confirmed me for an interview without my consent AFTER I emailed him what days I’m available. Who does that? And then all of a sudden they just went into the abyss.
It’s clear that Apple One only pays attention to your needs for a limited amount of time. If interviews don’t work out or you aren’t interested in the positions they have to offer, instead of FINDING positions that are a win win for the client, they apparently move on to the next person to get their $ worth. With that being said, the service here is subpar at best.

I was so incredibly grateful for all the help Kaitlyn Young gave me during my time with Appleone! She found me a temporary position in like a week and a half, and always had a great attitude and energy when talking to her on the phone. I felt like she genuinely cared about finding me a good position and maintained a professional attitude that made me feel confident in putting faith in her efforts. I honestly feel like when it comes to staffing agencies, the effort and energy you put forth is reciprocated by the recruiters, so being totally honest and showing you have great work ethic and drive will completely pay off! I ended up getting hired full-​time in just around 3 weeks and can’t thank Kaitlyn Young enough! She is the absolute best and I recommend anyone to go see her.

Fake and unprofessional staff. I spent my money and time interviewing to a career supervisor for positions that did not even exist!

After sitting in their test room for hours, I began complaining for the long wait time the only answer they had for me was that I came late «you mean 30 seconds late?» WTF… This is just one example. There is no point in arguing with them as they don’t seem to care about you.

Recruiters like Julie Dickens don’t really exist anymore. She cares, she does what she says she is going to do, she follows up and she is just a genuinely special person.
When she got me my first assignment she called to prep me for the interview and talked to me afterwards.
Just an all around true professional. In this past year I have worked with no less than about 8 recruiters, most of which don’t usually respond after a few weeks. I have been working with Julie for about a year. I highly recommend her if you are serious about work.

I’ve finished the application process for nine or ten temp agencies; AppleOne is easily the most professional of them and the most pleasant to talk with… at least as I’ve experienced with this branch in Sherman Oaks.
Julie Dickens is the Branch Manager and also my contact there. She has a broad range of contacts and opportunities regularly rolling through the office and has offered me the chance to go after a few of them. What I like about Julie is the fact that she follows through and delivers on what she says she will do. Plus, although they have tons of candidates and job opportunities, she still remembers who I am. That’s not something I can say about the other temp agencies that are half as busy.
If you have a chance to apply at AppleOne, try them out and see for yourself how they stack up against the others.

I really wanted to believe in this place but am ultimately disappointed. I actually had a great experience with another AppleOne branch down in Torrance. The Torrance branch helped me land a couple temp assignments and one of them asked me to go permanent. Thought I would reapply here since I moved up to the valley.
The initial contact with this branch started out okay, they were quick to get me in so we could chat and they could assess my abilities (which were 90%ish across the board for Microsoft programs at the intermediate level). I’m working so I’m not in a rush but am trying to find a job with a better fit.
The original person I was working with was on top of it. We exchanged emails every couple of weeks and I felt like she was really trying. Then… I got an email with the introduction of my new Account Executive since the previous one is no longer at the office. That happened twice, two turnovers in less than two months. I replied to those emails by saying hi, introducing myself, and giving them my availability. I got a short response acknowledging me and saying they’ll get back to me soon.
I need to add sarcastic air quotes around their definition of «soon.» Now I’m not a buggy person, I know they’re probably busy. I call or email once a week and haven’t heard back in a month. The Account Executive always seems to be busy on the phone when I call. Any email I send seems to go into a black hole. The emails I do receive are automated.
I signed up with several employment agencies as one should do. Even if there’s nothing available, at least other companies respond and send me personal messages from time to time to see if I still want to be in their system. This branch seems to have lost the good Account Executives that were good at communicating.
