Worst pollo loco ever! I love pollo loco but this location is the worst the drive thur is seriously terrible and when u get to the window they have no customer service at all, they give you attitude when u simply ask for sauce. Also before you take off you should double check your order they always end up missing something. And not to mention did there side order get smaller its ridiculous over priced combos.

Never go after 7pm. I don’t think the staff cares. I ordered a chicken avocado quesadilla and asked for no cabbage. Drive thru girl at work was like«uhhhh yea why not,» in a sarcastic voice. Then the guy taking my payment was not really paying attention and interacting with me. Literally kept looking away laughing and talking to the rest of the crew. I got my food and drive away, but noticed my small Mac and cheese was missing. How hard is it to check? So I went back(in reverse since no one else was ordering) and the crew just looked at me like they didn’t believe me. I literally handed over my small bag. They apologized but really didn’t seem to care, again all the crew staring at me. They gave me a large to make up. As I was walking from my car to apartment, the flimsy bag ripped. The food went on the ground. Luckily everything stayed in the bag, but the Mac and cheese went everywhere. The quesadilla was fine. I went to eat my quesadilla do fine it burnt. I couldn’t stand to eat it. The cook must have been with the other careless workers. I sure would not serve that if I was a cook. I just gave up and made an omelette. I do not recommend this place. Save your time and money.

This location is simply awful. The chicken is always ridiculously chargrilled. I don’t even know how their cooks think this is acceptable. I wouldn’t feed this crap to a dog. The bowls are always shorted. How about serving fresh food for a change. How about cleaning your grills? How about serving chicken that doesn’t look like it will cause cancer after it’s consumed. Of course this review and the others that trash this location won’t get read and this location will continue to be a ridiculously terrible establishment.

They literally mess up my order every single time. It doesn’t matter if it’s the drive through or inside, they will always mess up. I don’t order anything special. I just order whatever how it comes. I ate inside this restaurant once and I will never again. The fire alarm was going off the entire time and nobody was even trying to fix it. It smelled like raw sewage in the restaurant. I am so sad because I usually like El Pollo Loco but come on. how can you eat a salad with no creamy cilantro dressing. No way. Just don’t eat anything. You will be happier.

I used to come here every week for the past 2 years. No more. Got a very bad food poisoning from their sour cream(or dressing, who knows…). I had to go to ER because I couldn’t stop throwing up for 24 hours. I should have known better… 3 years ago I had the same story with their quesadilla.

Just like all the other guests, I had an unsatisfying visit. Ordered a double chicken bowl with no rice, no beans, no cheese asked for lettuce instead. Too bad I didn’t take a photo of the empty-a** bowl they gave me – It looked half eaten! If you’re too cheap to give me enough iceberg lettuce to fill up the bowl, then charge me the extra 27 cents… but don’t make me sadder about dieting than I already am! Plus the floor by the salsa bar was pretty dirty. All in all the bowl didn’t taste bad but the chicken was dry. Don’t think I’ll come back unless I’m in a real bind.

Always getting my order wrong. Nothing fun waiting in the drive thru to get home to the wrong meal.

How do you forget the salad but give me 2 things of dressing? Stale chips, and you ask me if I want tortillas and do not put them in my bag?! Then I call like 6 times and no answer, I love Pollo Loco but this location sucks! They need to be a little more observant on what they are doing, and make sure the order is right and food is fresh smh,

I and Family N. are down in L.A. on vacation from Portland. I grew up here near this very intersection. I remember the old Quigleys and Maxsons drug stores, which are now a Rite-Aid and other shops. These were the days before most«chain» stores and franchises moved in here. Long before Starbucks was here. And long before El Pollo Loco. One of the things we don’t have a lot of once you cross into Oregon is El Pollo Loco. There are a couple, but it’s pretty difficult to find. Which makes our trips down here all the more precious, as we can hit all the fast food chains we can’t easily find up there. El Pollo Loco is one such purveyor. We’ve been to this location probably 50 times over the past 10 years and, generally speaking, the food quality has remained consistent. In last night’s(9:00pm on a Monday) visit, the white meat was a tad dry, but I’d blame it on the time of night. We’ll probably return over the next week or two during more conventional lunch or dinner hours and I’d suspect the chicken will be better. Everything was fine, as it always is. We typically get a 10– or 12-piece mixed chicken meal with rice and pintos on the side, with the kids getting Mac and Cheese. All the sides were as good as they have always been. I’ve always loved their salsa bar: 3 – 4 different salsas, onions, lemons, cilantro and peppers in «all you can stand» quantities. El Pollo Loco isn’t the cheapest fast-food place to eat. $ 35 for a family of 4 brings it up into average sit-down family dining territory, not fast food. But for us, hitting El Pollo Loco when we visit CA is as much about reminiscing and happy memories as the food itself.

I had the Two Piece Chicken Combo and two side dishes. Everything was standard El Pollo Loco. I just thought that the Mac and Cheese was just o.k. The place does offer a drive thru and there is plenty of parking.

Terrible. Food is not great and the service is awful. My husband and I ate here for dinner tonight. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and when we sat down to eat I realized there was no chicken in it. My husband encouraged me to say something… I had to explain it to the girl behind the counter three times and peel open the quesadilla to show her. She walks over to the gentleman making the food and explains it to him. She then asks me if I would just like a side of chicken instead… In hindsight I should have said yes, but instead he throws together a new quesadilla and this time forgets the cheese and pico and grills it for about 2 seconds. The new quesadilla was luke warm at best and the tortilla was soggy within 30 seconds of sitting at the table. Waste of money and time.

Still gagging from the sight. Ordered chicken mango taco. Ugh! The lettuce was black. That’s right — black. How old was that lettuce to turn black?! Once I saw the spoiled lettuce in my salad, I couldn’t take a bite. The mango wasn’t fresh. It was diced mango, hard and smaller than corn kernels. The chicken was overcooked. There was a piece so hard, it truly was a chicken nugget. The avocado dressing was flavorless. I will never return.

Horrible horrible horrible service! I don’t know how this place is still open. I’ve given this location 3 chances and each time is has been worse than the last! They ALWAYS forget something in my order, get it wrong all together, or have the longest wait!!! Ugh. Too bad this is the closest location to me… I now have to go elsewhere.

There’s a reason why this location has an average of 2 stars. The food is consistent decent about 60% of the time. The place is super convenient — but I think in spite of that fact I won’t come anymore. Here’s a list of screw-ups: 1. The ice tea is usually out after 8pm, and that leaves only water if you don’t want soda or diet drinks. 2. The salsa bar is pretty sparse after 8pm, there’s always something missing. 3. The tables outside are consistently dirty, filthy in fact. 4. The tables inside are consistently dirty. 5. The quality of chicken is inconsistent. 6. The ground outside has litter all over it, appears they only clean a few times a day. 7. On several occasions the lettuce has been rotten in the salads. There’s just no love here. Ownership can blame the help but that doesn’t cut it. Poorly trained staff is a reflection on the lack of respect that ownership has for their customers, employees, stakeholders and the brand. It’s shameful. Clean up your act Crazy Chicken

Out of Carne asada meat? Really? That’s a joke. I hate places that don’t know how to manage inventory and are out of something big like Carne asada meat

Wow… Expectations fulfilled. After not going to any El Pollo Loco for several years, I was intrigued by the new salads. Bad decision! Does the salad I ordered look anything like the advertised salad? There were no black beans(none!), and clearly needed given the meager tiny shrimp, and I had to search for my tortilla strips and the pico. The final insult was the smashed avocado touted as hand sliced. I am done, never again will I fall for the pretty advertising. Shame on you… The ingredients are hardly worth $ 5(not $ 7), and the eye appeal… I wonder if it was dropped on the floor before coming to me.

I have no idea why this El Pollo Loco has two stars. I’ve been coming here for years I’ve never had a problem here other then probably about two or three years ago when they forgot to put a bean and cheese burrito or something like that I don’t remember but there are always smiling and very helpful and very patient the chicken is always great here and the prices are a heck of a lot lower than some cities it’s crazy. I mean come on how bad can the chicken be, it’s fresh on fire right there all you have to do is order a juicy chicken or a well-done chicken. That’s the bottom-line I believe that people that complain here don’t know how to water their chicken ha ha Ha. So with that said the crazy chicken I love you.

Was here around 7pm, right smack dab in the middle of dinner, when everything should be ready to go and fresh. At least that’s what you’d assume. The pico tasted stale and gross. The guacamole was also stale and had giant stringy chunks of not ripe avocado in it. The chips were cold and tasted strongly of oil. Our avocado chicken burrito was mushy and tasted off. They forgot to add in a side of salsa roja(the only addition to the order) And after eating the spicy chipotle chicken burrito was edible, but I felt sick for an hour afterwards. I’ve had better from other Pollo Locos, and I might return to those locations, but I would never come back to this one, and I recommend everyone else steer clear as well. Worst meal I’ve had in some time.

A man pays $ 23.99 for a 12-piece, 3-sides Family Meal and thinks he overpaid. When he gets home with it and the whole family chows down, and it tastes better than he remembers it tasting, then it’s A-OK. Better than A-OK, actually. I love taking the extra chunky tomato salsa and avocado salsas home, it brings zest to each chicken bite which is moist to my satisfaction. And I’ve admittedly always thought the Pinto Beans are among the best out there. «El Pollo Loco» surprised me with how satisfying it ended up being, and I happen to like this location very much. #likereally
