HORRIBLE food. Not just bad Japanese, it’s just bad food, period. The cucumber roll was made with regular(not sushi) rice, so the rice was hard and tasteless(since it didn’t have any vinegar). The cucumber inside was all with skin, no «meat,»(look at my picture) so it was just a bunch of crunchy cucumber skin and tasteless rice. And could you throw in some avocado maybe? First time in my life I haven’t finished a roll. The«poke» bowl was generous, sure, but again it had terrible rice, and the sauce on the fish was mediocre. I was basically eating plain tuna. Fine, I love tuna, but this is not what poke should be.

Solid 3 stars, for everything from their service to food to cleanliness. Not bad for a place that gets destroyed during lunch time. But if you do go visit during their down time it’s usually clean and you can find the condiment section sort of full. Good luck if you can find that during lunch time. I will def. go back again and again because if the convince of their location to my work and I guess I can get my protein fix there as well.

I love grabbing lunch here for work, and my coworkers all enjoy it as well. Our usual is the chicken teriyaki bowl, everything is fresh. I love the condiment section, there’s so many things to choose from. I love their jalapeños that’s a great addition to the teriyaki chicken bowl. We have Hana Grill at least once a week. I’ve never had any problems here.

I got a salad there that cost $ 8+, but was literally nothing more than lettuce and a few thin slices of avocado. Totally not worth the amount paid for it. Looking at their menu they’ve definitely over-priced most of their items.

Pre made warm sushi rolls. Enough said. Their bowls are alright. Unless you’re absolutely starving and can not wait for whatever the reason may be, I’d go somewhere else

The food is great and prices are too. They just need to better their employees. I got nasty looks for some odd reason and I don’t know why.

Go to waba. This place gives you a small portion of teriyaki. The miso soup tastes disgusting.

Coming into this place was a result of going to the Arclight theaters in Sherman Oaks to see a movie but starving so I just walked into the first place that I saw with food. Well I was not too disappointed with the choice because they had sushi here and for a cheap price too which was amazing because I was craving sushi a day prior. We picked this place obviously out of the blue and just decided to work with it, my girlfriend got the teriyaki chicken bowl and I got my self the spicy tuna rolls. The bowl was about 8 bucks with shrimp and the sushi was about 6 dollars for 10 rolls. Fell in love with the sushi right away, to think that we were planning to spent about 50 bucks at the cheesecake factory, we spent only about 20 dollars for 20 rolls of sushi(I had to order myself another 10 rolls) the chicken teriyaki bowl and 2 drinks. Pretty worth it, the place in general was pretty clean and the service was good with nice staff, they were friendly and I have no complains except that there is currently no bathrooms on site. You want to catch a quick bite to eat before a movie this is a great place to come by for some quick sushi freshly made when you order or some chicken teriyaki which is packed into your bowl, no lie my girlfriend dint even finish the chicken haha is all good we were stuffed and good for the rest of the night. No bad, Hana grill.

The katzu chicken was incredible! The only concern i had was one of the workers(Male) didn’t seem to enjoy being there! Very monotone.

Good for lunch. Price is decent. Food is good. I normally get the chicken teriyaki with shrimp tempura or the Hanna salad with chunks of tuna with their own ponzu salad dressing.

This place is not the same anymore. I work in the Galleria and this is by far the only place I go to to get some food. I have been giving this place a chance to prove them self and to get me back from eating here. However, this place has been giving trouble and yet I don’t complain as often. I tried their New Spicy Ramen on the menu and was very disappointing. It was literally a Japanese style instant ramen off a bag and cooked with chicken, garnished with chives, and that is about it. Was not worth the $ 9! Ordered Udon a lot of times and two times I asked for tempura and veggies on the side. They advertise shrimp and vegetable tempura on the menu as an add on for the Udon for $ 1:50 and yet it is vague because they always give me just 2 pieces of these small shrimp tempura. Ordered a chicken bowl with no rice, I repeated myself to the cashier to make sure of that(«no rice») and he did make a note of that, as soon as I got to work I checked my order and little did you know my order was messed up again. Bought a California roll as well that was just imitation crab and cucumber(where the hell are the avocados). The workers make it seem that the order is right and they see it, but I feel like they bypass it especially when it’s a to go order. I advice everyone especially take out order to double check their order. It’s not the cashier’s fault, but the people in the back prepping and making the food. Can’t really count on this place anymore as I had wasted so much lunch and break time waiting for my food here. They need to change the system of operating and managing this place. The service here got really slow even if it isn’t lunch time(which is the busiest time here) where there is not even a line and yet it takes more than 15 minutes for an order.

Came here after workout for a quick meal. It’s your typical no frills teriyaki chicken bowl and sushi joint. What’s different is probably I like the fact that their bowls are a bit wider and it gives the impression that you’re getting more. chicken was okay. I think I just like their sauce and side bar. They have nice kimchi salad and it’s nice being able to load up on ayce green onions and radishes.

I’d say this is a pretty solid«meat-rice bowl» type place. It’s definitely better than Flame Broiler or Waba Grill(and light years ahead of Yoshinoya). I shared a beef bowl with my husband and since I was starving when we ordered it, I was SO pleased to see the sauce bar had other stuff like pickled cucumbers and a cabbage slaw thing. I had about 4 Dixie cups of that stuff. The bowl was very big and had a lot of meat. I’m glad we shared because I would have had to take the rest home. If you’re in the Galleria and you’re hungry this is definitely your best bet. Inexpensive, fast, tasty. I’d definitely go back, but I probably wouldn’t ever get the sushi because I have a rule about where I get raw fish and that ain’t the kinda place you get it. Service is fine, place is clean.

Lately I have had a crazy addiction for sushi. Luckily, I ran into this place in the Sherman Oaks Galleria. As I was reviewing the menu, I was able to observe other people’s orders and everything looked really delicious, so it ended up taking me a few minutes to decide. I ended up going with the Shrimp Tempura Roll. I could see the lady in the back making it fresh which was great of course. As I was waiting for my food to be called I did notice it was a bit messy around the sauce bar, and a lot of the soy sauce containers were empty so I had to go grab some off a table. I was very impressed with my shrimp tempura rolls though they were much bigger then average and one order came with 10 rolls which was about 8 bucks, and they tasted really good. I would definitely recommend coming here if you need to make a quick stop for a bite to eat. PS. I believe they do validate for up to two hours as well, so your able to park in the parking garage. I didn’t park in the garage so I’m not for sure I just over heard an employee tell a customer. So I would just call to make sure. :)

Food was alright, nothing fancy or remarkable. What got me was the checkout process. It’s a fast food restaurant where you order at the counter and they tell you when your food is ready, you pick up your food and seat yourself. She swiped my card and asked me to answer the questions on the screen… they ask if you want to pay a tip and when I checked no she gave me a look. First, they haven’t done anything for me yet so how would I know how much to tip them? Second, you tip someone when they go above and beyond what their normal duties are. I shouldn’t be asked at a counter if I want to tip them. How would I know what their service is going to be like? But then, they aren’t going to serve me which makes that question awkward and left me feeling weird.

I asked them if they have curry chicken rice, they told me yes and so I ordered it. A few minutes later, they come back and tell me it was sold out. I don’t feel like eating anything else and asked for refund. it took them almost half an hour to give my money back. it’s ridiculous. why do I border to ask before I order and why didn’t they check and make sure before they took my money? and it took forever for refund??? what kind of service is that? Not going back. EVER!

This place is good for lunch. Their best sushi for me is the shrimp tempura. They also have beef bowls and chicken bowls if you want to eat rice. It is good to stop by at this place whether you want it fast and going to catch a movie after. It is inside the Galleria Mall complex so its one of the cheap place to eat compare to the restaurants around it.

Hana Grill is located at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. There’s two hour free parking with validation. Bf and I ordered a salad with spicy chicken($ 1 extra) and spicy tuna($ 2 extra) and gyoza. The gyoza was 2 stars. The salad was bountiful with avocado and plenty of chicken.

Great quick bite option for The Sherman Oaks Galleria. Sushi options are no where close to being«sushi» — granted the prices and«fast food style» establishment. However their Teriyaki Chicken bowls are tasty and at a good price. Indoor seating area(kind of crammed) and some outdoor chairs and such. Located on your right as soon as your start walking in to strip from the parking structure. Employees don’t seem happy but thats the least of my concerns when dining here.
