These people are terrifie! I have an old car and they keep it running! Lance even locked up the shop late one afternoon to bring my car back. KB auto is located in the Arco gas station so if anybody else had needed KB the cashier at Arco could have told him he would be right back. Nobody I’ve ever been to has been more honest and trustworthy!

I have been going to Lance since he was in panorama city at the Chevron station in 1980. I have never found a more honest and dependable and reasonably priced automotive shop. He and his son never over charge they will go beyond to find the problem in your vehicle and repair it efficiently, and will always back up their work and parts. I have recommended many people over the years and no one has left disappointed.

These guys used to be right across the street from me, but I continued to use their services even after I moved. Other mechanics might have been more convenient, but Kb was always honest and reasonable when it came to maintenance and repairs, and I was never made to feel at a disadvantage just because I didn’t know a lot about cars.
Unfortunately, I just bought a new car that has a maintenance contract, so I won’t have any excuse to see Lance and the rest of the team for a few years. But I’ll recommend them to everyone I meet!

I have used this auto shop/​mechanic that is connected but unaffiliated with Arco on Hazeltine and Burbank. They have done the service on all my leased vehicles in the past 8 years, including each of the models I have had… lexus, mercedes, audi and acura. They are always able to reset the new modern dashboard warnings that dealers would lead you to believe can only be shut off if they service the car. The service has always been done top notch, they are fast, and courteous. They never BS me, and I’m never charged for unnecessary service. They have also given me recommendations when I needed rims repaired and tire replacement. A simple phone call to Lance early on a saturday and you can quickly drop off your car. In addition, they provide Uhaul trucks which I have used about 3 times now, and it’s so convenient.

I’ve been going to this place for two years. They have been very honest and courteous with me every time. Mechanics have been very hit-​and-​miss with for as long as I’ve been living in Los Angeles so it’s a small miracle when you actually find a mechanic who doesn’t take advantage of you and try an talk you into unnecessary fixes. Plus, they’re open on Saturdays. A big plus for the nine-​to-​five crowd.

I’d been referred to this mechanic, though it isn’t the closest to my present home. I had occasion to visit them a couple days ago, and as I drove past shop after shop I wondered if this place was really worth passing others to get to.
Well, it is. They are as good as advertised in terms of warmth, honesty, friendliness, and competence. They tended to my car quickly and efficiently and yet completely as if they were people I already knew who were happy to help me out. At a fair price, at that. That was a great feeling from a mechanic that didn’t actually know me from Joe.
So if you’re in the valley and looking for a place to get your car fixed, I can’t recommend KB Automotive highly enough.
