We’ve been searching for a good Indian restaurant in LA for years and have been shocked how poor or utterly average all the places we tried have been. However, King of India were excellent! Finally we have found great Indian food! We ordered via Grubhub but now we know they are good we won’t hesitate to visit as well!

While not very impressive from the outside, this place is excellent! Stopped by for lunch buffet and was so impressed! Tried quite a few dishes — too many to describe. Food tastes like homemade and very warm, unlike most of buffet offerings in similar places. Pleasant hostess, and quite and clean inside. Surely will be back, loved it!

Food was delicious!!! I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and it was fantastic… Their service was prompt, and their food tasted fresh. I was given enough food to serve two people, so naturally I was lucky enough to have left overs for lunch the next day. I plan to return soon!

Today, I ordered delivery. According to the restaurant, they did not want to drive to my location because of the «rain.» First of all, is dry as shit and there is not one drop of rain. Then they said, «we will deliver for a minimum of a 5 dollar tip.» The audacity!

I have ordered food here many times, both to dine in and take out, also twice catered for my house parties.
First of all, the staff is amazing, nice, kind and inviting. The restaurant is in a quiet plaza, usually plenty of parking.
From food, ordered chicken, lamb, beef and also the vegetarian dishes, samosas, naan, rice and everything else.
The food is very tasty, appetizing and high quality. Once time at my party the mixed veggie curry was soo good I ate it for a whole week!!!
Amazing place, recommended to all my friends and will go back very soon.

This is probably one of my favorite indian restaurants in southern California. The naan and chicken tikka masala are just amazing. Extremely flavorful and well seasoned. One of the hidden gems that everyone must try. You will not be disappointed if you came here for food. If i lived closer i would definitely be eating here more often. Overall a good quality restaurant! Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Well done!

I’ve yet to try a menu item that wasn’t great at this restaurant. The chef has been working there for decades and maintains it flavor.
I’ve hadn’t their lunch buffet yet but from the pricing and menu time I would assume its very reasonable.
Pros:
— ample parking in the plaza, and surrounding neighborhood.
— fully staffed with great customer service
— great tasting south east asian food.
— fun to experiment different items since every item is delicious.
— always fresh and hot. especially if your dine in, the chicken is steaming.
— great for take out/​catering.
— serves alcohol.
— caters well to large families and friend.
— sharable serving sizes. great prices for quantity.
— its usually empty during the dining hours because majority people prefer delivery these day. So it makes a great place to have great conversations with friends.
cons:
— since it is empty sometimes, it can be uncomfortable for some.
— delivery gets busy during dinner, faster to just to call in the order and pick it up.
— needs more dessert items
Overall, good quick indian fix.

For take out this place is great.
The food was excellent and the guys helping me were super friendly.
I wouldn’t go eat there because it was totally empty and had a weird feeling.
Next time I’ll order take out or delivery. What I really liked was the taste of the chicken it was fresh and prepared really well.

I like it here. I’ve only had their lunch buffet (three times so far), which is pretty vegetarian-​friendly.
As a vegetarian, I’ve found plenty to eat there each time, and the flavors of the buffet items ranged from good to delicious. Service can be a little relaxed… something to note only if you’re in a terrible rush. I’m craving this place now!

Overall, this is good, not great, Indian food.
The paneer has a nice texture to it, masala is a little sweet. Their veggie samosas are standard, but I wasn’t crazy about their chutney sauce. The tarka dal was awesome but it kind of smells like vomit (does not taste like it though!)
Also, our delivery came half an hour early, so that was a pleasant surprise.

The cool part about Indian food is that a great deal of it is vegan.
I really like this place. The food is always fresh and tasty. The Mushroom Matter is my usual staple in addition to whatever else I order when I’m feeling adventurous.
The vegetable dishes have yet to disappoint so I can only imagine that the meat dishes are pretty solid as well.
The atmosphere is okay. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Prices are fair, and portion sizes are generous.
My only real complaint is that whenever I go to this place it’s always cold; freezing sometimes. I usually end up leaving my coat on whenever I come here.
Other than that, this place is pretty solid. The food and service are strong enough for me not to knock off one star.

Makhani was black lentil made in paneer makhani sauce, i mean seriously.
