I have been going to Dana at The Honey Suite for probably two years now after I found her through Unilocal.After my first appointment, I knew I would never let anyone else touch my brows again. I consider myself a perfectionist, but I am nothing compared to Dana. She will not miss a single hair. She is the best, and her prices are more than reasonable. As an added bonus, I almost always go on the weekends and parking is easy and free.

Ran to Dana after being booted out of my normal waxing salon in Hollywood for arriving too late. Hey — I just had a month of sickness, death and filing missing persons reports – not to mention that day I was trying to squeeze in family stuff, picking up my grandfather’s cremation urn and then got stuck in the hills from a shortcut Waze took me thru before my signal was lost. It was a mess of a day! Normally I would have just rebooked, but I was emotional and it was my anniversary the next day and I needed immediate service! lol. I quickly did my Unilocal research and found Dana. She had just had a cancellation and was able to squeeze me in. Turns out that she’s also just down the street from my house so it’s super convenient for me. Parking was a breeze in the back. I swear it was the least painful wax ever! I’ve only been to 2 people before and they were really good so this is a genuine compliment. She apologized for being such a perfectionist as she cleaned up a few stray hairs, but I LOVE perfection! hahaha. Add to that – it’s just what every one says — there was NO residue. Zilch, zero, NADA! Dana was also very friendly and we chatted about kids and health issues and I got a good vibe. I’m happy to find someone so close to home. I will be back for sure!!!

Dana is BEYOND awesome. This was the LEAST painful waxing experience I have had. Dana is kind, warm and makes you feel relaxed. She is super neat, no wax residue left sticking to your skin. I will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable and plenty of parking in the back of the building.

Dana is the best of the best. I have been waxing for 20 years. The last 5 have been with Dana. Before Dana, I had some bad experiences. One waxer burned me with hot wax, one woman I used to go thinks it is ok to keep her clients waiting for up to an hour in the waiting room and one woman always, always, always left wax stuck to me.
Dana is clean. Dana is neat. Dana is fast. I experience no pain when Dana waxes me. Dana gets every single hair. One of my favorite things is that Dana leaves NO wax residue behind. I always feel at ease with Dana too. Bonus: Ample parking in the lot behind the salon. (Dana’s Honey Suite is in the back of the Howard Kurtz Salon) Dana is as good as it gets.

Dana is my favorite waxer ever. She gives the most painless waxing I have ever had and she is super fast. Her prices are incredibly reasonable as well, and I would even go so far as to call it a deal. On top of this, she is just an all around nice person which I guess is a good thing if you’re letting someone get all up in your business.
Just a note: Dana is an independent waxer that is located in the Howard Kurtz Salon on Ventura. She books her own appointments so you can’t book through the front desk (believe me, I’ve tried), and she is only there Wed-​Sat. There’s a parking lot in the back that looks like you have to pay for it, but you just pull a ticket and park and there’s never an attendant at the booth at the exit, you just drive out.

I had tried waxing a couple times before and had horrible experiences. I had pretty much given up on the waxing idea and then I found Dana. She makes waxing as pleasant as waxing can be, she’s professional and an amazing perfectionist. I’ve referred several friends to her and they have all been happy with her service as well. I literally drive from the other end of the valley to go to Dana and wouldn’t dream of ever going somewhere else!

Dana is the best at waxing. I was searching on Unilocal for a local hair removal salon… and was actually waiting at a different salon down the street to get waxed. While I was waiting, I had time to read their reviews and the a few bad reviwes was enough to take off lol I called the Honey Suite and Dana answered my call right away, and was able to take me in right away. She is fast and efficient.

I’ve been going to Dana for years to get waxed, even before she opened The Honey Suite. She’s awesome and her prices are great! Love her!!! I HIGHLY recommend Dana.

If I could rate Dana a 10 I would. I have never written a review on Unilocal before now but feel so compelled after the amazing service by Dana. Now waxing is never really fun but Dana’s professionalism, skill and great personality make it a great experience. I have been waxed by many many different people all over the place but no one has ever compared to Dana. She is fast and painless (as painless as waxing can be). And for any first timers out there wondering about getting waxed, I say do it. You leave feeling sexy, clean, and beautiful. And from now on, I will only ever go to Dana. I hope she never moves.

This might be embarrassing to admit, but yeah … I’m a guy and I’ve gotten into the Brazilian waxing thing. Why? Well, a girl I was seeing in Australia was a huge fan of getting it done, and she talked me into trying it.
A few painful screams later, I was all smooth and clean. You know the saying, «If you want to make your house look bigger, trim the hedges»? Well, they ain’t lyin’, that’s all I’ll offer up. I’ve kept it up, and now I’m so used to it… plus I think there’s nothing wrong with being hygiene-​aware, is there? Maybe it’s a «down under» thing. ZING!
Sorry. Anyhow, when I got back to the States, I found out about Dana and the Honey Suite. She made the experience a lot less painful and plenty more bearable. If you have waxing on your agenda, you’d do well to check her out and get your business done.
