Took me in without an appointment. Fahmy did an amazing job… knew exactly what I wanted

Fahmi is amazing — he has won awards in Europe in hair competitions — I love going to him, when I do, I swear my hair grows faster that in 2 weeks time, I need a trim. I always leave with soft, shiny and healthy hair. We kinda disagree at times at the style (he is so glamorous) while I like the simple California tousled girl look but in the end, I leave glamorous and after 3 sleep ins, I get my California tousled look. so it’s a win-​win. He can do anything!

I only did a polish change but they get points for being very warm. Without reading the Unilocal reviews, you can tell it’s a true local business. Ivanka did a great job on my polish change, which is $ 8. It would be nice if they didn’t have a card minimum ($ 20) and just charged the customer — that’s what they do at Le’s Nails in Highland Park where I usually go — but there’s an ATM across the street and they were great so they get 5 stars. Apparently Fahmi is the man on both men’s and women’s hair, so perhaps I’ll be back.

Fahmi SAVED my locks!!! I’m new to this area and was in DESPERATE need of someone to tend to my hair… long/​fine in need of TLC. This is a hidden gem of a salon. LOVE that it’s so close to work for me… DEFINITELY will be returning!

I have been coming here for over 25 years for my haircuts. Fahmi really does magic on my hair and he will give you plenty of options in terms of cuts. He is well versed on all contemporary as well as traditional styles. Every time I get a haircut, I get lots of compliments.
Scheduling is easy and they are very accommodating. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair.

I’ve been going to Transformations salon for the past 27 years and drive 50 miles one way to get there. can’t imagine anyone else other than Fahmy cutting my hair. the staff is courteous and friendly and they go out of their way to pamper you.

I’ve been going to Fahmi for about 9 years now and I can say that he really knows what he’s doing. I always get my cuts and hair styled here and he never disappoints. I’ve gotten my hair cut long and short and he does a great job with it all. He listens to what I want and also gives me his own ideas. I always leave happy, which is a big deal when it comes to hair. On top of that parking is free (a big plus on Ventura!). I highly recommend him!

My family and i have been coming here for years! Fahmy, the owner of this salon is a very talented award winning hairstylist. He studied in Europe and can do just about anything you ask of him in regards to hair. He can do both men and women’s hair extremely well and has a staff of qualified stylists.
The salon is very welcoming and the service is excellent, they offer coffee, tea or water as you wait. They will come in early/​stay late according to their customers needs and do what they can to make you comfortable and enjoy your time there.
P. S. Ladies, his wife stocks the salon with some amazing unique jewelry and handbag pieces as well! I can never resist getting a lil something extra for myself. :)

This is a casual neighborhood salon with a lot of regulars but Fammy (my hairdresser) would be at home at the fanciest salon in Paris. His lovely wife Martine often shampoos my hair and is so nice. Fammy keeps keeps my hair looking great with blow dries, gives fabulous haircuts (and fast too), and his color is second to none. Also the price is reasonable and he has gone out of his way to accommodate me when I needed to come is a bit early on occassion. He is my partner is beauty. I couldn’t live without him and wouldn’t want to try.

This place was pretty cool, looks like a shack from the outside. Parking is free in the back, through the small alley next door. Fahmi is the guy that helped me out. All scissors, this guy definitely knows what he is doing. It was a 35 dollar cut, but for a place on Ventura Blvd, expected.
Will definitely go back. Not a five star because it is a little pricey for me…
