This place is great especially for hard to find items. I was asked to bring something specific to a dinner party that was just not carried by other liquor stores. I know because I spent a half an hour driving around to find one. But, they had it! And also knew all about it. Apparently they try everything in the store. A great resource and I will now be a regular customer. I also think that it will help me to try new things. Customer service was great, both visits in. Highly recommend them!

On one hand the prices for this place are a little on the higher side. Then again, it is Sherman Oaks and you sort of expect that type of thing.
On the other hand, the service and selection is pretty exceptional. First off, the beer, wine and spirits that they have here would make any alcoholic happy. So it is a pretty big one stop shopping when you have a party to attend to, a nice dinner event to get to or just want to hobo it up by getting cranked with a bottle in a brown bag.
The second part to this compliment is the service. The owner has a memory like an elephant and will remember what you bought weeks ago… hell, you could come in months after and not remember what you got last but request it and he’ll probably jump to it within 2 seconds with the correct bottle. He’s just that helpful and in all
The prices may be higher than most other places, but really not by much and that service really is worth the price.

I’ve come in twice: First, to buy a bottle of liquor for a Christmas gift. Second, just the other day to pick up a bottle of wine on the way home from work. The owner (told me his name but I forgot) asked me «How was the tequila?» From five months ago! Also, he told me I am too beautiful to work. I don’t know if the flirting is entirely necessary, but the service can’t be bettered. When I pointed at a wine that was priced at $ 4 and said «Is this drinkable?» He said «No» — and changed the subject back to my beauty. I hope his wife doesn’t read this, but if you do, honey, that’s what’s paying your bills!

Might be a 4-​star, but the service bumps it up.
So I work down the street and after a late-​nite shift I stop by here before that 2am cutoff to grab a coupla beers.
The owner is this awesomely unique kinda odd middle-​Eastern guy. Part crazy part funny.
He’s very outgoing… and now that I think about it I think I’ve seen him here over a decade, back when I used to come with my dad as a kid to get Lottery tickets.

The selection is pretty awesome. My favorite thing is you can take a beer out of a 6-​pack and buy singles. It’s not dirt cheap but at $ 2 give or take per beer… nice way to sample.
I’ve stumbled across 4 – 5 awesome Sam Adams (Oktoberfest, Whitewater IPA, Coastal Wheat, Latitude 48 IPA, Coastal Wheat) and tried a bunch of others such as Piraat, Old Rasputin, etc.
Additionally they have midsized traveling size liqours (200mL & 350mL) of the popular stuff for like $ 5-​$ 12, such as Captain Morgan, Jaeger, Jack Daniels etc.

Overall the fact they allow you to buy single beers is awesome and cost friendly.
The mid-​sized Liqour (usually in plastic bottles) is awesome as well.
The owner is funny, crazy and relatively helpful. Even will come over, ask you what type of beer or Liqour you like AND will make suggestions of similar types of drinks.
Also it’s near THE BARRELL, MAD BULLS TAVERN, SPITTING CHICKEN CANTINA, and a few other hotspots within a block or two so it’s a nice place to get your Pre-​drink on, on the cheap…
Last off its next door to a Donut Shop AND In and Out. Need I say more!!!

How fucking adorable is the owner of this place? I came here on Friday with this cutay for some late night drinks. (walked here since his cousin lived a block away) The first step I took in this place the owner had me dying of laughter. He was helping some milfs when I walked in, he acted like he fainted and did the hand movement like he was hot. HAHA really? I’m not that hot just alot, kidding. But it was adorable how he put me on the spot infront of everyone. I go to the beer section they had a pretty good selection on beer. A LOT of single beers which are a plus. The price is a little more than usual but who are we kidding its Sherman Oaks. I ended up with some red stripe while the others got some Jamison. (I was driving and didn’t want to fuck shit up on the freeway) We ended up going back that night and I splurged on a cliff bar. They have the best snacks and of course customer service.

Good selection. A bit over-​priced but you can find stuff here that you literally can’t find anywhere else. The guy working there is really great, a bit of a talker and a wee bit strange but super nice!

the sister store of Silver liquor. don’t expect to find your run of the mill grocery store brands of wine here. instead ask for a recommendation from the side show bob looking guy and tell him that «feel» sent you. they have an awesome beers selection here just look out for the out of date import stuff. most of the mainstream stuff should be ok.
