Great service and the food is really good. A small suggestion would be to make the pieces of chicken bigger on the bacon wrapped jalapeño appetizer. It was good, but the inside second wrap of bacon is chewy and not crisp. I had the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries. In one word, awesome. Will definitely return.

Sooooooo good. Buns taste freshly baked. Had the Buick burger several times, and it has always been good. Onion rings are fresh and delicious. Service friendly and don’t leave without trying the Mississippi Mud!

Excellent eatery! Fifties themed with good quality cost-effective food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The onion rings are amazing. Burgers clearly never frozen. Turkey burger for us alternative eaters. Great local neighborhood restaurant! Love it, and recommend this place!

It was a good place. We had the pickle chips, kids burger, kids chicken, studebaker, and hot rod ford burger. The fries are good if you like steak fries and they onion rings are cut thin(which I like). The kids burger was larger than a normal kids burger and was good, kids chicken had good sized strips. The burgers were good, but meat was just a little dry. Would return for another try if driving through town.

Ate here today with my girlfriend. We are both burger fans. First off if you are following your GPS and it looks like you’re going into a group of houses you ARE going the right way. This place sits smack dab in an older neighborhood. We had the fried pickle chips which were crispy and good. Nothing overly fancy just done right. I thought that the burgers were really good but one suggestion my girlfriend had was a slightly bigger patty. The hamburgers come with your choice of either french fries or onion rings. I suggest trying them both. Both the fries and rings are handmade in the restaurant — they are very good.

I was on a roadtrip back to Oklahoma from Dallas and needed a place on the way to stop for dinner. Unilocal to the rescue once again. I’ll admit, we started questioning our GPS when we started going through a residential neighborhood, but trust it. It’s off the main road, but not that far away from the highway(a perfect roadtrip stop!). I got the Cadillac — a burger with cheese, bacon, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes with a side of fries. It was all delicious. They make their own hamburger buns daily and it tasted like they make their own hamburger patty and fries too. If you’re craving a classic burger and fries, GETTHIS. My mom ordered the club sandwich, which we found out they make it with hamburger buns and not toast… It tasted okay, but not great. GET A BURGER. That’s what MG’s is known for, after all. Service was good. We were checked on twice the hour we were there. Ambiance was cute. Lots of classic car memorabilia on the walls and even the CEILING. –1 star. If you order water, it’s the disgusting Texas tap water. You might as well drink out of the toilet.

Sherman, TX is home to one cool(and off-the-beaten-track) eatery. MG’s features about a dozen burgers, named with car themes. I had the Cadillac(cheese, bacon, mustard & all the veggies) with some onion rings and a Dr. Pepper(what else would I drink in Texas?). As burgers go, i rank this one very highly. It had great flavor and a bun that didn’t fall apart. The rings were crispy and tasty. After ordering and paying at the counter, my food was delivered within a few minutes. One of the wait staff cheerfully offered to refill my soda several times. MG’s isn’t very large — there are tables and a few booths. The wall are adorned with automobile paraphernalia. If I’m ever back in Sherman, this is one of the first places I’ll revisit.

Last time I was in Dallas a friend recommended to me the best burger in town. I was unable to make it that time but had the chance today. The burger was good(mostly home made ingredients), the shake was made from dirt cheap ingredients, and the fries were soggy and greasy. If I was in town, I would stop again but it’s not worth more than a 20 minute drive. Honestly, I’ve had better burger based meals from In & Out and Whataburger.
