I live about 10 minutes away, so it’s my go to place for a quick lunch. Decided to get some of their new Nashville Hot Chicken before the Super Bowl Started. I get home and realize I paid $ 16.00 for a 12 piece, and got 8 pieces… that is unfortunate because I am not going back since the game started, but I’m sure they’ll make it up to me later. This was two hours ago. I’ve called 9 times between then and now with no answer, and even got a busy tone twice.
Staff is great, so it’s a shame.

As someone who rarely eats fast food, this was about what I expected. I came in with a group, very hungry. We were greeted by classic rock, bright old style burger-joint decorations, a jukebox, and tired employees.
Finding a GFDF menu option wasn’t easy, and the people behind the counter weren’t much help. I’d hoped their rice bowl could be modified, but when I told them about my allergies, they simply told me that their bowls have dairy, and hurried on. I ended up with a grilled chicken breast, green beans, and fries. When you’ve gotta eat, you’ve gotta eat.
My companions who don’t have allergies were quite happy, especially with the huge $ 2 root beer floats!

I enjoy eating KFC every once in awhile, you know THAT craving! BUT when they short you on the biscuit and still give you the honey & butter packets it just reminds me every time before I leave the counter that I should look in my box to make sure my meal is complete! Don’t fail me next time colonel.

I read on the interweb that they don’t use real chicken here and that it’s some kind of genetically engineered beast. To me that sounds awesome. Just bought me a few buckets of beast! Love it!

***Good Chicken*** Bad Service! Cashier was nice but she had to get permission from manager for every request. The manager did not take care of the other angry customers waiting in line for their orders. One guy said he was waiting 30+ minutes! I ordered a two piece meal and took 10 minutes? All you have to do is grab and plate. I think having two franchises in one store makes things complicated for employees. LOL! Isn’t it bad when customers in line have to complain to each other about what horrible service and wait they are experiencing? This place does not represent fast food (slow food).
The franchise and being in the middle of nowhere keeps this place alive and in business. I bet if I opened another KFC across the street I put this one out of business.
PS: Fix that annoying front door! Someone going to get hurt.
