Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Will only rent from Enterprise. Horrible experience at Hertz. Posted a review for them. Enterprise accommodated us and our needs for an SUV with hand controls and waived our fee that’s normally charged for picking up at sac international and dropping off in shingle springs. Awesome customer service. Will definitely rent from them again.

This enterprise is a little small and feels understaffed especially when it gets a little busy. Walter, the assnt manager I believe, was very helpful. He is patient and made sure everything is trim and proper. After returning the rental to him, I needed it again and one of the drivers took me back to the branch and I was driving away within minutes.
Pros: friendly staff (drivers and managers), close to the collision center I take my car to, quick service despite being busy and «understaffed»
Cons: I got a 2014 dodge avenger with only 15000miles on it. The car vibrates at highway speeds and is poorly maintained. Steering wheel would also jerk on some pavement. Feel unsafe at times
Conclusion: I probably would not return due to the poor maintenance of the car, but the branch itself is nice and close for the shingle springs community and body shop.

Probably top 10 worst customer experiences in my life. I reserved a car online and went in to pick it up with a friend visiting from out of town. The bald guy behind the counter who I think just had bought lunch was not thrilled to see us walk in. Dude just stares at us. After 10 seconds I awkwardly say «hi» — I explain the situation he says he doesn’t have our reservation and then just stares at us. My friend and I are looking at each other like is this guy for real? I was like «okay man well I guess we’ll go somewhere else» as we walk out he’s like «maybe I can try to find you in the system» so I give the guy my name and he says the reservation is for tomorrow and he doesn’t have any cars. That was it — I just shook my head and left. Went to Enterprise in Folsom and the crew down there couldn’t have been nicer. That’s what I get for trying to keep my money local :)

We have now rented from enterprise twice in the last coupe months! They have both times picked us up at the repair shop we use and had a vehicle waiting for us with paperwork and everything to go so it fast and easy! A plus was we have two children so both tiles have is a fully loaded SUV that helped big time! They have always been super nice and works with us! Thank you Enterprise Shingle Springs!

I’ve made reservations in advance at this branch twice and on both occasions they told me that they did not have a car to rent me. The second time, they said they’d call me when a car was returned and they never called back. You stink Enterprise Rent A Car Shingle Springs!
