Unprofessional. Poor customer service. Workers wouldn’t acknowledge my presence. Not impressed by gagged earlobes of inattentive employee. 2^nd strike for this place with me. I won’t be returning.

This place is a slice of heaven. I normally post on trip advisor, but wanted to share my experiences here as well in hopes that more people will have the same opportunity to experience the amazing coffees and teas I have.
Let’s start with the location. Easy access right off the freeway, lots of parking.
Coffee, omg! I’m a long time Starbucks fan, but look forward to the days when I’m on duty (firefighter), because my commute allows me to get coffee before and after my shifts. On cold days I strongly recommend the white mocha, or if your a black coffee drinker, try their special roasts. I promise u that you will definitely taste the difference in the locally roasted, fresh brewed beans.
Tea, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Planje family (owners) actually travel to far away destinations to personally preview their farm fresh tea. They buy direct, and you can tell. I love the selection and the second I’m feeling a little throaty, tea and honey I go. :)
Now here’s my favorite part. Rob, their master roaster actually selects locally brewed microbrewery selections from some of the coolest. Breweries.
I hosted a cigar night there a couple of months back and we drank amazing beers and had stogies on the patio.
I am not an employee but do know the family who owns this company. They are hard working, honest, detail oriented, customer driven, good people.
Give it a try you won’t regret it.

Great tea selection… Huge in fact and they’re very knowledgeable about them. Coffees ok not always the best but try the Dirty Dave it’s amazing! Staff are friendly and now they started doing beer on tap. What’s not to love!

So expensive and they don ‘t have a big enough menue. They charge for every little thing. They cost a dollar more than Starbucks for a blended drink that wasn’t that good

I tried to find this coffee shop today and it must be closed because there is nothing at this location.

This place is awesome! Excellent coffee, a huge selection of tea, and great options for breakfast. I had the motherload breakfast sandwich: A jalepeno bagel (your choice of bagel) with cream cheese, chicken apple sausage, colby jack cheese and cholula hot sauce. It was something else.

The Bollywood chai and chicken sandwich on walnut sourdough bread is super yummy a must try!

These guys rock! I usually drop in to Starbuck’s because it is easy and predictable. However, when I am up in the Shingle Springs for meetings, I like to go to Shingle Springs Coffee Company. It is a family business, positive atmosphere, local feel and great coffee and tea. Their tea selection is extensive.
Yesterday I tried the Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin… shhhh…don’t tell my wife… she things I’m dropping weight. I was happy I did as it was excellent.
Next time you are in town, check it out.

Should be Shingle Springs Tea Company. Excellent tea! Best chai I’ve ever had. Haven’t tried their food items yet, but they look tasty.
Negative: Closed often when I try to go there. Closes early.

This place has new owners now and they own their own coffee bean company too. The flavor of my drinks are great and the service is fantastic. I also like that they are adding new menu items and food.
Go there for a quick drink or bite to eat.

I love the friendly customer service you receive from all of the employees at Shingle Springs Coffee. An added bonus is the fact that they roast their own coffee and care about the coffee growers. Their original teas are amazing too!

This place is great! The staff really knows how to brighten up an early morning! Great tea selection! The London fog is a must have. They also have tasty pastries and lunch items. Nice place to hang out.

Had a good Turkey sandwich, but it was not a good value for $ 7 with small bag of chips. You’re better off going to the Subway next to the Valero station.

Love this place. Cheryl and all the staff are super fabulous. Great spot to sit and study or for a quick fix. I LOVE their sandwiches and salads and the coffee is superb. Stop in and see. You won’t be disappointed.

Another great place to hang out to have a tea or coffee, to chat with friends, or just get some work done. Good location off US 50, pleasant, welcoming staff, and great food and drink options.
