I purchased a 2003 Jetta from Shingle Springs Auto Mall in December 2009, for $ 6000 cash. It was an urgent purchase, as a tree had fallen on my car from the big storm. Within three weeks of purchasing the Jetta, it broke down with a bad water pump. Our mechanic said, and put in writing, that in his opinion, the car had NEVER been serviced. When I spoke with Mike – who sold me the car, and then with one of the owners, I got, «Gee, that’s too bad.» And, «A mechanic checks all our cars.» Well, obviously not ALL of them. We’re still finding things wrong. Avoid this dealership. The vehicles are over-priced, the customer service sucks, and their cars are in poor condition.
