Vincent’s Pizza

Vincent’s pizza is great pizza! I order from them so many times. I love the chicken and onion pie that they make there and their prices are not bad at all. But this Unilocal is about a recent visit that rubbed me the wrong way.
I went to Vincent’s for the first time to get a look at the place. Nothing special just a pizzeria with good pizza. They had plenty of young staff working there so I figured They would be in and out quick with my order. The girl that took my brother and my ordered seemed frustrated, almost like we interrupted her social time to take our order. I guess I was confused, I most have thought standing behind the counter meant she was on the clock, but it must have been her «8 hour shift break.» I stayed the course and continued to be polite to her and I quickly saw that didn’t matter, she clearly didn’t want to be bother by paying customers this day. She was young so I guess no one told her how the economy works, customers buy and you get paid! I left the place wishing I would have called for delivery. I believe if I never went to the pizzeria and I Unilocaled the place, I would have easily given them four stars! But that girl, like vinegar, left a bad taste in my mouth. I plan to never return or order pizza there again. The sad part is again it’s great pizza, I’m not going to lie and say I hated it because of a bad experience, but I will stand my ground because of one bad apple… that ruined the punch!

me thinks NOT the white pie! My guest were spitting it out!!! why ??? because of the huge chunks of raw garlic !! Who does that ?? RAW GARLIC??? at least mince it if you don’t roast it or sauté it ! and you couidn’t pick it out or off because it was mixed in with the cheese.

This is really a nice place. This is the best pizza I’ve had since living on the Island. I’m not a huge fan of pizza, I can take it or leave it. When I do decide to «take» it. It’s Vincent’s.

Pizza is really good and they accept coupons which can be found online. Overall awesome place to eat and like I said really nice pizza.

We have been getting there pizza for years! they have the best pizza in town if not even in the surrounding towns. delivery is always quick! pizza always comes hot and it’s delicious, give them a try you won’t go back to any other pizza place. (yes. Even over Mama Lisa’s)

Great place out east unfortunately as of the end of this month they won’t be accepting credit cards which is a shame

is great pizza. may not be a fancy Italian restaurant where you sit down for a date but it delivers what its name says «pizza».closest to a good city slice as you’re gunna get out here. Ive eaten alotta pizza. some how people can ruin a slice of pizza but not these guys.

WORST service you can possibly imagine. I ordered my pizza at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. Advised 30 to 45 minutes. It is now 8:15 and it is still not here. Called them at 8:00 and the response I rec’d (like they always say) «it’s on the way and it will be hot». I told her that if it is not then it goes back. Same thing with them every single time. Last order I am ever placing!!!

After living in Shirley the past 16 months, I’ve concluded Vincents is the best pizza in the area.

Brightly lit. You need sun glasses to walk in here at night. Had a quick sicilian slice and it was way better then I expected. Great sauce. Im a fan!

Quickly greeted, I ordered up my traditional first-​go-​around regular slice, which came to $ 2.10. I took a seat and was summoned over once it was ready, the fragrant aroma of fresh garlic knots wafting through the air. The slice was a seriously crispy creation with a browned lower crust. The taste was mediocre but satisfying, and there was high volume for 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, a promising sign.

The right amount of sauce and cheese — that’s all that makes me happy when it comes to a pizza. Very oily too — but I overlooked it. Large pie with a Pennysaver coupon — 9.75.
Mozza sticks were good — 6 for $ 3.75 Good marinara dipping sauce.
The dining area itself is very clean.

Vincent’s is kind of a new kid on the pizza block. They have mastered the crispy thin crust. A Blue Collar pizza place where the locals go. The walls are adorned with pictures of fishing trips and post cards yet it maintains a sense of NY Pizza place integrity. They don’t try to fool you with a sense of old NY nostalgia the Pizza speaks for itself. Another stamp of approval from my esteemed Sicilian colleague; «Guac» gives it two thumbs up. That’s huge as he’s a pizza aficionado as he’s a former pizza maker.
