I have owned a shop in the U-​Village area for 26 years. These guys are our go to place for machine shop work. Super nice people and meticulous work. CJ the owner is super cool and Travis that runs the machine shop is a perfectionist and a great guy too. All the staff are a pleasure to deal with. An old school neighborhood mom and pop auto parts store/​machine shop that is a pleasure to work with, wish there were still more places like this around.

Travis in the machine shop is shy but is a real master machinist and mechanic who prides himself on perfectionism. He brings his beautiful and sweet St Bernard puppy Titan to brighten everyone’s day. Zoli the parts counter master has a way of making all us ladies feel special. I would trust my car only in the hands of these true professionals. The bonus is they have amazing prices and great quality parts that are the foundation to true customer satisfaction.

It’s a mystery to me why there are no Unilocal reviews for this shop, given how awesome it is.
How we met the owner (pictured, don’t remember his name off the top of my head): My hubby and I were cluelessly trying to replace the wipers on our two vehicles in front of our house. A guy in a small SUV was driving past. Put on the breaks, backed up, rolled down his window and asked, «You guys need any help?» We sure did!
It took him no time at all to replace all 6 blades (for the rear windshields, too). We were just blown away. «How can we thank you?» we asked. «Don’t worry about it,» he replied in leaving. Somehow it seemed he was too good at this to be just some average guy. «You seem to know a lot about this,» I persisted. He mumbled something about being the owner of J&J up on 15^th. I requested a card and J&J has been our go-​to ever since. We are never disappointed.
I just now got off the phone after getting good FREE advice on a car issue. This guy is amazing. He could be from Andy’s Mayberry, he’s so old-​school cool.
