I’ve been wearing hard contact lenses for over 40 years. Soft contact lenses can’t correct my bad vision. About 6 years ago, my long time optometrist retired and a young doctor replaced him. Apparently, fitting GP hard contact lenses isn’t something that all optometrist are skilled to do. After struggling to fit me, the young optometrist recommended that I see Dr. Patricia Keech at Highland Vision. Her office was a little further than I wanted to drive, but since she was recommended by my optometrist, I took that as validation that she must be good; and it turned out that she is very good. Dr. Keech has been my optometrist since then. She’s very good at correcting vision and fitting my hard contact lenses. Since I don’t have vision insurance, I pay cash(credit card) on the day of the service so I get a discount on the exam cost. The profit margin is too low for them to give a discount on the contact lenses.
