Shoreline Muffler

Mike fit me in to his schedule to do some quick work another shop recommended. He did the work for a reasonable price and helped me look at the car and see if other work (that was supposed to be done before I bought the car) had been done or not. He was honest, thorough, and knowledgeable.

I took my 1989 Acura to Johnson’s Auto (which is great) to have some work done on the exhaust system. Johnson’s said that the place to go was Shoreline Muffler — great recommendation! I called Mike — very nice guy — he put the car on the hoist, quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted a very reasonable price, and 45 minutes later I drove the car quietly down the street, no longer sounding like a tank. Take your muffler work to Mike — you won’t regret it.

Quick, polite, but no nonsense service at a reasonable price. Saved me from wasting money on a part I didn’t need and gladly installed some used (good condition) parts that I brought to the shop. Don’t waste your money at a chain shop that hires far less qualified technicians who will try to up sell you on work you don’t need done. Welds look good too!

I was searching for a reasonably priced muffler shop in the area and gave Mike a call. He was informative on the phone about price and was able to take me in the next day! He did a diligent job and was fairly quick. Completely satisfied with the results and the very reasonable pricing, unlike other shops in the area that charge way more. I would recommend my friends to this place for exhaust work.

Mike at Shoreline Muffler is one of the best people, he is so knowledgeable and he only help you with what he knows, not like other shops they rip you off. Highly recommended, i trusted this guy with my BMW 760Li and he did a great shop for a great price.

Carter Subaru said my 2001 Subaru Outback, which started to run rough at 178K and failed emissions test, needed new O2 sensors and a new catalytic converter, which would cost me $ 1300. Mike at Shoreline muffler installed an OEM cat and sensors, and a new muffler, which I also «sort of» needed (my call, not his), for a little less. When I picked up the car, he told me about a nail in my tire (even marked it with chalk), which I already knew about, but nice of him to do it. When I asked about the old cat, he said he would be selling it. I didn’t insist on it being returned, though in the ideal world, we would have discussed that beforehand, as the law gives me the right to my old parts back and the shop should offer. But I didn’t fight it, especially not knowing if the cat was completely worn out or not and not wanting to deal with trying to get rid of it. Seems like he did a good job. The car runs great now.

I called Shoreline Muffler at 9:00 a.m. on a Monday morning to get an appointment for 10:00 that same day.
I arrived at 10:00 with a broken weld at the exhaust resinator on our 2005 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport.
At 10:07, for $ 27 our exhaust problem was solved.
This repair was pit-​crew fast, and easy on the pocket!
