update! this taco truck shut down! and good riddance. you are lousy and terrible!

I work across the street from this place so the taco truck is in walking distance from me. If I had the money I would eat at this Taco Truck everyday! Their burritos and tacos are amazing. Their burritos are the size of the burritos at Taco Del Mar or Chipotle but better. They even accept debit and credit card as well. If you are going through 99 stop by here, the authentic Mexican food and Mexican music is an awesome experience.
The only bad side is that in the morning there is only one guy and he is waiting for his co-​worker to come by with all the supplies for the day.

I love food trucks as much as the next Seattleite — they’re usually quick, convenient, and tasty. Sadly, his taco truck off of 99 was convenient but was neither quick or tasty. I had the carne asada. It consisted of a larger piece of grisly, bland meat and some pieces of more seasoned pieces of meat underneath. More than half of the meat was inedible. The rice that accompanied it was bland, and the beans were okay. I was intrigued by the sweet empanadas, so I ordered rice pudding and a mango empanadas. The rice pudding was congealed and bland, the dough was dry and crumbly. The mango filing was okay, but nothing special. My companions had a variety of the tacos which seemed fine and the chicken quesadilla which was just average.
All in all, I was super disappointed. I think this spot shares the lot with another taco truck, and sadly, the other one was not there that day. If you see that it’s Taco N Tento in the parking lot of the 76 station, I recommend that you keep on driving. I’m only giving them two stars because the service was friendly, but I’d say only 1 star for the food.

I found this place while I was wandering around Aurora Ave. waiting for my car to be finished. This was hot on the heels of a bad massage experience up the street, so I was a little gunshy, but what the heck, you only live once. :-)
They were out of carnitas, so I tried carne asada and adobada tacos for $ 1.25. They were pretty good. Nothing special, but i would get them again.
While I was eating my tacos, I noticed that they had a fried chicken special. That is something that I have never seen at a mexican restaurant, let alone at a taco truck, so I felt compelled to try it. Well, it was really good, and the refried beans that came with it were really good too. The rice was only so-​so, but did I mention that the fried chicken and refried beans were really good?! My only beef… err issue with it is the portion size. There were only two fairly small pieces of chicken in the container when i got home. They were lost in there. Now, if he added a third piece of chicken or loaded it up with the refried beans, then it would be a whole different story/​review…
