The manager at this store was so friendly and accommodating! I was looking for a particular shoe to wear with my wedding dress. It was available online, but not in the Short Hills store. The manager called a few locations in NYC and was able to find the shoe I was looking for and she had the shoe mailed to my house. Everyone is so friendly and sweet at this store!

This labor day the most I wanna say thank you is Kate Spade short hill team. About two weeks ago I shopped in this store and left my notebook after I check out. I looked for it everywhere my home, all my important calendar was in it. Then I got a package from Kate Spade short hill, it is my notebook! They kindly send it back to me, it is sooooo sweet. This is the most beautiful Kate Spade store I’ve been to, the decorations are like dreams, the girls are kind and helpful. Love it!

I am so pleased with the service I received here. I bought a pale pink crossbody bag at another KS store in May and used it for the first time last week. Despite being assured that it was durable leather, some dye transferred from my jeans and stained the bag after only about an hour of use. I used the KS leather cleaner, and it still left behind ugly marks. I was so upset, but I figured that because it was bought on sale and so long ago that nothing would be done. I called corporate customer service and they said that this should not have happened and they would cover it under their warranty. They said I could bring it with my proof of purchase to any KS store, so I went to the Short Hills location because I was going to be at the mall anyway. The team was SONICE and really went above and beyond. I was nervous that I would only be offered a store credit for the sale price(and there is really nothing on sale right now at an equivalent price). They presented me with two options: exchange it for the same color, Rosy Dawn(which is no longer available, but they had one in the back), or swap it for the same bag in another color. They were helpful and advised me not to get it in a shade of blue I was eyeing because the same staining could happen again. I was also nervous about getting the same pink for this reason. I wasn’t interested in the other colors available, but someone went into the back and pulled out one that wasn’t on display yet! Even though I paid a much lower price for the pink bag, and this one was full price(and not even for sale yet, technically), they exchanged it out for me at no charge. AMAZING! I will definitely continue to buy Kate Spade products and definitely come back to this store specifically.

Would give this store no stars if I could. I am very disappointed with the level of craftsman ship on a recent bag purchase and the level of service I received at this store location. As a loyal Kate Spade customer, one who has her metro card holder, wallet, various bags, and had purchased numerous gift items for others from the brand, I am thoroughly disappointed to share I will no longer be a Kate Spade customer. Let’s go back to September 2nd. I had a friend visiting from London, and we decided to go shopping at the Woodbury Common outlets. I had been looking for a work tote for a few months, and found one I liked. This was my first KS outlet purchase. I usually purchase items full price at Nordstrom. Perhaps that was my first mistake. Nordstrom has impeccable customer service, you should take a page from their book. ONE of the handles(there were 2 handles on this bag, both black cowhide leather) started turning blue a few weeks ago. As this only happened to ONE of the two handles, I called customer service 2 weeks ago to discuss options for having this defect repaired. Customer service told me that since I live closer to a full-price retail store, I could bring it there and they would mail it out for me and assist. I finally had the chance to go to the Short Hills store last night and had an awful experience. The woman was: 1. not welcoming since I had an «outlet» purchase 2. not helpful at all. She told me I could call or go to Woodbury Common KS Outlet and they could help me. I said no… I spoke with customer service and they told me I could bring it here. She proceeded to inform me there are many new members to the customer service team and that I was given incorrect information. I asked for my bag to be sent out for repair, as many of your competitors do when there is an issue. I personally have had experiences with Coach, a direct competitor, assisting me in this manner. I told her that there was no way I was going to Woodbury and the problem was to be solved here and now. She offered me store credit for the price of the bag(and not the tax??? Isn’t this illegal???) I asked for the credit in the form of a gift card as I did not see a similar bag, nor any that I liked. She told me she was unable to do this, that I had to exchange it for something in-store right now if I wanted to return the defective merchandise. I looked around and really could not find anything I wanted. Perhaps that is because I recently had a new Kate Spade wallet given to me as a gift, and I bought 3KS bags in the last 10 months… I finally found the rose gold gramercy watch. I have the gramercy grand in silver and wear it everyday, so I decided to get that. NOTTHAT I WANTEDORNEEDED A NEWWATCH, but I was left with the choice of a shitty defective piece of merchandise I was embarrassed to carry around my Wall Street job, or paying another forty bucks to make the problem go away, since she did not refund my tax. I left with the watch. Now I am really displeased with the way I was treated in the store and the solution that was offered. Do not go here! The brand is going downhill and they are not helpful at this store.

kate spade + Short Hills is such a perfect fit. I am THRILLED that they’ve finally opened up shop in my favorite mall! The store itself is sparkly, classic, & vibrant. They sell clothes, bags, jewelry, shoes, & accessories — but it’s all mixed & matched around the store. Everything was within reach, & you’re encouraged to touch, explore, & feel the products. Even the jewelry cases are open, so you can try on the bracelets & feel the necklaces. Each of the rooms has several racks of clothes, some purses & wallets, and some jewelry. I love that they have both purses & their super fun clutches all over the store too. And the back room has a wall of shoes & a wall of bags. So lovely! *sigh* I walked in on their opening day with an online return — what a pain, right? No problem! The employees were so kind & handled my return easily. They were talkative, friendly, and really helpful while I was looking around for some more gifts. I found a necklace that I liked, and one of the employees kindly put it aside behind the register while I kept shopping! Long story short, this store is everything I hoped it would be. A wonderful experience in one of my favorite stores. Short Hills is now my one-stop shop(ping mall). Welcome to the neighborhood, kate! PS: two words: STUDENT. DISCOUNT. Go get it!
