Really great costumer service at this ysl location. They were extremely helpful in processing a return for me and even went out of their way to order a new item for me. Peter made sure I was happy with my new item and examined it ahead of time for me. Really appreciated their commitment to costumer service.

I came to this location last month to pick up a leather jacket for my fiancée that she wanted for her birthday. As usual, I waited to the day before the birthday to get the gift, so ordering from the website (which she usually does) was out of the question. If I would have known then what I know now, I would have just ordered from the site and given her the gift late than go to that poorly managed store. I live about 5 minutes from the mall, so going there on the way home from work seemed like the logical choice. I parked by Neiman’s, went up the escalator, and the store is practically right there. I walked in; and a tumbleweed could have blown by, but not a single worker was in sight. I paced back and forth waiting to be helped for about 15 minutes, I even did the«hello?» a few times along with a couple of coughs. 30 mins passed, and FINALLY, a young guy comes out from the back staring at the lit-up iPhone in his hand. Really??? I gave him the size and style of the jacket and he disappeared again. Another 15 minutes passed, and a woman came out with(believe it or not) her face glued to an iPhone. I felt like I was at the Apple store! She introduced herself as the manager in a low voice that I took to understand that her name was something like«Denise». The manager was amazingly even less helpful than the previous salesperson who disappeared. She had such a poor attitude, as if I was bothering her. She told me that they did not have the size but she could order it. Frustrated at this point, I kindly told her that I’d rather not and left in a bit of shock, extremely disappointed at the poor salesmanship and attitude I received from the representatives at Saint Laurent in Short Hills. When I spend 5k plus on a jacket, I expect a more professional environment and great customer service. My fiancé and I shop all the time at Short Hills Mall, and this was by far one of the worst shopping experiences. So, I wound up going to the store off Madison Ave. the day of her birthday, and, needless to say, what a world of difference: expedient, attentive service, everyone extremely nice and helpful. If you must go to a store, go to the one in the city. My advice: don’t waste your time going to the the Short Hills store. The sales representatives(when they were around) were zero help and looked more like«Hot Topic» sales associates than Saint Laurent representatives. Just order from the official site or .
