Riverside, CA
This place was very nice. We only stayed one night, but it was very convenient and clean. This is a hotel of older design. You park outside your room and your door faces the parking lot. It was surprisingly quiet and we slept well.
There is a nice Mexican restaurant immediately adjacent to the hotel that is very convenient, especially after a long day of driving. Good food too! Breakfast buffet is included in your room price and it was surprisingly good. Waffles (you make them), eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, bagels, juice, coffee, etc… it was a very satisfying breakfast and it was nice that it was included in the room rate.
I would definitely sat here again if in the area.

Was promised a non smoking room. It smelled like cigarette smoke. Will never go there again!!! Management needs an attitude adjustment!

I am a Marriott guy, and I am very snoody when it comes to hotels. It is dumb, I know… but I can not help it.
For business I am having to travel throughout Arizona, and there are not many choices in some areas. So I am stuck with Best Westerns.
I am quite impressed with this chain. Great clean room, friendly staff, free internet, free parking, and free breakfast. Bed is comfortable, and I like that they use bed protectors for things such as bed bugs. Fully furnished rooms with microwave and huge fridge. I can not wait to keep experiencing different locations. Will definitely be back here.

Wow, where to start with these jokers. Dirty room, uncomfortable bed, and the front desk hosted by the Queens of disrespect. Pass by this place and don’t even think about stopping.

If you check out my other reviews, it seems like I hate everything. But not this place. It was a completely satisfactory experience. The room was smaller but not small, clean and well appointed with everything in order and in good repair. The staff is gracious. The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast items, with added fresh sliced strawberries and a couple other things. I recommend this hotel. I also recommend Licano’s restaurant next door.

Where the rooms are warm and the rates are cozy… is their saying… stayed here for our Christmas holiday… drew a nice hot bath, room and bedding were very clean… staff was friendly… good eggs and salsa and hot fresh coffee for breakfast… spacious room… enjoyed the free HBO… booked for a deal on
for only $ 5 more we got a fireplace in our room which made for an even more cozy evening by firelight… will stay here again…

When needing to be on the Show Low side of the Mountain this is my go to spot.
They offer clean spacious rooms, usually under per diem rate (a plus), with a micro and fridge. They offer free hot breakfast (the standard scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, cereals and muffins).
There are a few restaurants with bars within walking distance. Which is convenient.
The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very affordable and for the price you pay you get a very clean room. The free breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly enough. The only thing that was a slight negative was that the heater was noisy (at least in room 107) and in the morning you can hear doors opening and closing and other noises outside the door. My husband is in the military and we had to go for his drill that weekend and the day we were checked out he didn’t get done until 1 P.M. Check out is at 11 A.M. but they let me stay free of charge for those few extra hours. For the price the hotel is great.

San Pedro, CA
The Paint Pony is the Best Western motel in Show Low, and probably the nicest place in town to stay. It also was the cheapest Best Western we stayed in during our entire time in Arizona, and offered the best /​biggest rooms and the most services, including hot breakfast and free internet and newspapers. Julee Billinglsy, the mananger, is super-​friendly and a genuinely good person. What a deal.
I can think of few reasons to try to spend the night in Show Low, but if you are there by chance, this is definitely the place I would sleep.
