So my birthday is today but I went in yesterday first to treat myself as I had a little extra money and the I ordered the sirloin steak medium well with cheddar potatoes, baby corn, garlic toast and a side salad and it was outstanding! While I was there the shift manager(I believe her name was Danni) informed me they don’t just give a free Grand Slam breakfast on your birthday(at least at this particular Denny’s), but if I wanted to come in for lunch or dinner I could order anything and they would take the price of a Grand Slam off the ticket, which came out to like $ 7 off! So I came back in again today and got seated quickly at the counter even tho the place was packed. I intended to just get a burger and fries like usual but Danni recognized me and convinced me to try something different, so I had the crazy Spicy Skillet, which had grilled chicken and roasted potatoes, jalapeños and red peppers, chorizo and mushrooms(which I normally don’t care for but I said what the heck– lol) and covered in pepper jack cheese, and I cleaned my plate in no time! I had a great experience both times and will definitely be back and if you stop at this location, say hi to Danni!

Haven’t been to any Denny’s in a long time because we always end up having a bad experience. Well, this past weekend my daughter and I decided to try out local Denny’s. Newly remodeled and new menu, it always looked busy so we thought we’d give it a chance. Sunday at lunch time they were busy but seemed to be moving fairly quick. We ordered 2 milkshakes, a sampler appetizer, and French fries. Food came out, milkshakes didn’t come out for 10 more minutes. That sucked… French fries were in a bowl that had a pool of grease at the bottom and they were soggy. Quesadilla was limp, chicken strips and mozzarella sticks were fine. Milkshakes were really good though. Floor was dirty. Went to pay and their credit/debit was down. The kid was writing credit card numbers on slips of paper. They didn’t have a sign up or tell anyone before ordering that credit was down and it’d been down all day! No way I’m gonna let some kid write down my credit card info. Luckily my bill was $ 21 and I did have cash, but I had to run out to my car and find $ 4 in change to leave a tip. I think that we’ll continue to avoid Denny’s from now on.

Service was horrible. After being sat and having our drink orders taken by the on duty manager we sat there waiting for someone to take our order for almost 20 minutes, finally the manager came back and took our order. When the food arrived it was very sub par, hash browns were crispy and completely drenched in grease, the French fries were cold and grease– logged.

Me and Gomer popped in for breakfast this morning! It looks as though this location has been fairly recently remodeled and it was clean and comfortable! Our waitress was a thirty something ginger and other than allowing Gomers decaf coffee cup to sit empty for several minutes, the service was above average! I had the blueberry pancakes breakfast, which included 2 eggs, hash browns and a choice of bacon or sausage. I chose the sausage! My meal was tasty, standard Dennys fare, although I will say that the pancakes were excellent! Plenty of blueberries and light and fluffy! Gomer had the gran slam breakfast, he liked it and cleaned his plate, Shazam! If we ever pass through this little village, we might come back in for vittles! We give this Dennys a 2 thumbs up! Heading back down the road to Mayberry! Ya all take care!

Yes, I know it’s Denny’s, but being close to local shopping, it’s a convenient stop for breakfast or lunch. This week we went for lunch and were very pleased with our food and service. Kristy P. was training a new server and she also took care of our table. Her attitude was very friendly and professional. She made great suggestions to make our meal more complete and kept our beverages refilled. I have never had a better server. It’s easy to see why she is a trainer. If her students learn how to present the service in such a friendly, positive manner, they will do very well. We go to Denny’s a couple times a month and we are always pleased with the excellent service and good food. Thanks to Kristy P and her understudy for a great lunching experience!

The primary attraction of chain restaurants is their reliability, their ability to replicate the same experience, no matter where they are. McDonalds outlets in Honduras and Germany and Mexico are eerily similar to McDonalds in Anytown, USA. Until I tried the Show Low Denny’s I had never had a bad dining experience at a Denny’s. Corporate should sue the Show Low Denny’s for defamation. I ordered breakfast. The food was vile and greasy. The service was indifferent. Stay away.

Okay, okay I know it’s a Denny’s but it was perfect. I had the Alaska wild caught salmon and my partner had the cranberry apple pecan salad. The service was wonderful the cooks made the salmon perfectly with the pearl grain mixed rice and broccoli and $ 10 for perfect salmon! Come on, I’m not easily impressed but Denny’s has done it! Keep up the good work, I’ll be back. Ps this is not my first trip here, I have also been here for breakfast and lunch, equally perfect.

They did a complete remodel and along with the fancy new store their customer service as well as their food improved ten fold. Love coming here now.

My husband and I ate here twice in one day due to the proximity to the hospital. Each time the sever was friendly and attentive and the food was quickly served and plentiful.

This place is on SLOWMOTION. I have came here 3 times now and it seems like each time they take longer and longer. Seating time is about 5 – 10 min even if there are only a couple customers. Food time is about 20 – 30 min… And they never check up on you to see if you want a refill or anything else… Extremely disappointed. On top of it the waitress screwed up the check. AVOID!

Avoid this Denny’s. They had at least 5 manager/waitress/busboy employees yakking it up at the counter and very few customers at midnight. Even with some of them looking right at me, one of them walking past me 3 times, I didn’t even have a glass of water 7 to 10 minutes after being seated. On top of that, the booth upholstery has been worn out for at least 6 months. NEVERAGAIN!

Your typical Denny’s…from 1970. Needs upgrade, new tables, etc. Food was OK, just like any other Denny’s in America, same menu, same service. But this has got to be one of the oldest worn out Denny’s I’ve been to when traveling across the USA.

Would have preferred breakfast at a local café but gave up looking for one still in business. The menu was predictable, food ok but service was slow and waitress seemed bothered every time I asked for a refill on my Dixie– cup sized coffee cup. Why not leave our own coffee pot like Village Inn? If you are desperate and have low expectations eat here otherwise an egg mcmuffin would be a better choice.

Our waitress had no front teeth, my husband found a hair baked into his eggs, there was some wrapper in my syrup cup, the restrooms were dirty, and the restaurant was filthy. The manager removed the one meal charge and offered us a free pie, but we didn’t want anything more out of that kitchen. Bad even for a Denny’s. Ugh, gotta find a local greasy spoon for our next trip.
