The location has changed, they are now on White Mountain Blvd near the White Mountain Independent offices on the east side of White Mountain Blvd. Same great service and selection when I went in today. Picked up my Pleasant Valley Honey and B-12.

Great vibe & adorable store in such a beautiful town. Two weeks ago, I ran in quickly literally right as they were closing & Dean was kind & gracious & told me to grab what I needed.(Remember me? I needed alternative milk for my daughter with allergies & I mentioned my grandpa Dean was waiting in the car for me :) Anyway, not only did they have the hemp/coconut milk I wanted but also a random Olbas product that I love! I was concerned about the milk going bad in the car while we went to dinner & without skipping a beat, he ran to the back & brought me a free ice pack. Excellent service & thank you again Dean! I will most likely be making the trek up from Phx again next week & will be sure to stop in & spend my $ there locally where I was treated so well.

I spent more than $ 300 at this store buying food, vitamins, face lotion, ect. The introvert of an owner has seen me in her shop at least five times. The other day I went in her shop to purchase recycled paper towel but instead accidentally grabbed toilet paper. When I went to exchange the toilet paper for paper towel I was refused because I did not have my receipt. The owner was the one that sold me my every purchase. It is obvious the owner does not care about customer service nor has she ever been personable. If you need green items or vitamins go to another shop on the mountain because this shop does not care about you. I am proof.

For a small town this has been one if my favorite health food stores on the Mountain. When I lived in the area they were my main stop and now that I am up here visiting there are still a few things I know I can get here that I have yet to find at health food stores in Phoenix. Plus these guys, like the other health food stores on the Mountain, are quaint, locally owned and operated. This store reminds me of the Health Food store I worked at for several years while in college and is still near and dear to my heart.

Don’t go there if you have a service dog. They requested proof that my dog was a service dog. No such thing exists. She wasn’t wearing her service dog ID as we were on our way to a therapy dog visit and she was wearing her therapy dog bandana. Their behavior was very much in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act(ADA). I used to shop there occasionally, but I’ll never go there again. The ADA rules are: They can ask:(1) Is this a service dog? My answer was yes.(2) What is his/her job? They never asked this. No other questions about the person’s disability or the dog’s qualifications are allowed. They insisted I show proof. Arizona law allows them to ask for an ID card even though the ADA specifically says that they can’t. There is no official way to get a service dog certified. You can buy a patch or an ID from various online vendors. I have a backpack with a patch that my dog wears if she isn’t already wearing her therapy dog bandana. The therapy dog bandana is harder to get. You actually need to take a test and get certified to have your dog be a therapy dog. If a person is disabled, they can have a service animal to assist with any task they would like help with. Even though asking for an ID is in compliance with Arizona statute, quite honestly, it’s not good business.
