Very small space, and not in an intimate way. The room is cramped with only 10 tables and has the potential to be very loud. We were seated by a very large, loud party and considered leaving because of the overwhelming noise. This place is fairly new but already looks dated with tacky décor, lackluster artwork, and scrapes on the walls. There is noting inviting or even interesting about the space with generic furniture and unflattering lighting. I ordered a grapefruit margarita and it was the worst drink I’ve ever had – super weak and bitter. Also ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was crispy but lacked seasoning. The green beans were forgettable but the white gravy was excellent. If it made sense to go to a place just for gravy I would return but that’s not exactly practical. In all, the menu is limited, the service is poor, the atmosphere is off putting, and the food is not good enough to overcome all of this.

I am not gonna talk or type too much since I am not good at English. I only have five simple questions for you. 1) Do you have Sunday off? 2) Do you have a wife/husband and a kid(s) and want to take them to a cozy place for Sunday brunch? 3) Are you OKAY with the price of $ 10 — $ 12 per plate for WoWderful foods? 4) Do you like to dine in a nice place with a relaxing atmosphere? 5) Do you like good service with a big smile, a lovely waitress, and a cute waiter who can spin your plate on his finger while walking to you? lol If you say YES to 4 out of 5, go try on Sundays for brunch from 11 am. to 2 pm. And if you are not satisfied, then… then…you don’t need to go there again. lol(I’m not gonna refund your money, sorry. :“P lol) ***I suggest Sunday Brunch because all of my favorite dishes, such as French Toast, Bella Benedict, Fried Green Tomato Benedict and Smoked Salmon Omelet, are available on Sundays!!!*** ^____^

Although I only had a few drinks it felt good. Good mixing Z. That murky«mineral water» felt refreshing and pleasant traveling through my body. I am standing on my own two feet feeling like a baby, that is a very good sign. I got the bite from some cheese sandwich with tomato soup and it was great. Wasn’t too hungry at the time, but I will be flying back in for more

BUGS!!! Nope! I will never come back here again. I tried it for Sunday brunch once long ago and the terrible service kept me away until today. I went in to try the lunch because my sister wanted to go there. The service again was horrible. We had to wait 10 min just for a menu! I wanted the iceberg salad that is on the menu but they no longer make it so I ordered the caesar salad. When I finally got my salad there was a whole disgusting ladybug in it! The server was no where to be found so I had to go track him down to let him know about the bug and that we would be leaving. When I showed him he took the plate and turned and walked away without even apologizing or anything. Nobody came over to apologize so we just left… which we were going to do anyway but we thought we would give them a chance to redeem themselves for the future. Needless to say we will NEVER go back!

This place is kind of far out. The place is small and cramped. It’s a casual place so not a place to dress up and look fancy. The food was alright. It wasn’t delicious nor terrible. We went for brunch and the price wasn’t too bad. Nothing stood out for me. I will not return.

Food was well prepared and service was excellent. The meal took a little bit to come out, but it was expected with how busy the place was. Great place to get together with friends or a relaxed date.

Went for Sunday Brunch. We live in Dallas and were in Shreveport just for the weekend and I happened upon this spot by checking out Unilocal recommendations. We were SO glad we did! The location is a little off the beaten path, located in a new development right outside of a new housing section. But the people who live right down the street are extremely lucky. The spot itself is on the small side. Tables and booths are tightly packed into a small store front, with a well stocked bar on one side of the room. But, this small location stays pretty busy, from what we saw. The décor is modern and clean, and the atmosphere is cheerful, with updated music pipping through the speakers. The mimosas were excellent. A great measurement of orange juice vs the champagne. We had the goat cheese spread and ahi tuna for appetizers. We should have just stuck with those because they were very filling and both excellent. If we ever return to the city of Shreveport, this will be a must-do for us. I suggest you try it out too. And save me a seat, please.

We went today for Sunday brunch. The address was not on our GPS and the staff very patiently provided us directions to their location which appears to be around a new development. The restaurant is small and nicely decorated. Brunch comes with unlimited mimosas. We were not going to get an appetizer but when our waitress suggested the warm goat spread I changed my mind and I’m glad I did. The cheese was in the center of some greens with bread and a dipping sauce. My husband and I both agreed it was unique and very good. My husband had the Fried Green Tomato Benedict and loved it. He mentioned a couple of times about how fresh everything tasted. I opted for the Bella Benedict which came with skirt steak, avocadoes, sautéed peppers, onions and some potatoes. Really enjoyed mine as well. My husband asked for some grits and bacon on the side. I thought the grits were a little stiff but the bacon was very good. I love grits and I eat them a lot and I guess I’ve gotten particular about them. Service was very prompt and it was exactly what we were looking for today. Very pleasant experience.

This place is terrific… I had the rustic caeser salad and the seared tuna tacos. Kind of hard to locate on the Unilocal map but it is in the new shopping center in front of the neighborhood that shows on the map. Money well spent on a Fantastic lunch!!!

This little place is a wonderful addition to southern Shreveport. It has a great brunch menu on Sundays. I had the Sausage and Shrimp grits and I devoured the entive bowl. My sister had the seared tuna salad and it was amazing as well. The service was very fast and our waitress was friendly.

The location could use a sign — I drove passed every day and didn’t know it was there until someone told me about it. We went for lunch twice this week and were extremely impressed each time. Food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. Prices are higher but well worth it. Try the French fries and tuna.

Bistro Bella Fresca is the smaller, slightly cheaper, decidedly most Bistro-esque version of the popular fine dining location on Line Avenue. After holding the crown as one of the most well-respected restaurants in Shreveport for several years, it seems as though they’ve now decided to branch out into this second location, just off of Flournoy Lucas Road. It shares a building with Wine Country, with the entrance in the rear, and is right next to the Twelve Oaks gated community that sprouted up here in the last few years. Bistro has a cozy feel to it. There are not a lot of tables, but there is a nice size bar the small room likely will help to keep the noise level down. The original location can be quite loud when it is packed during peak hours(i.e. Saturday night dinner). As for the food, Bistro features some of the same fare as its original location, such as fresh fish, steaks, and a burger. It also boasts plenty of sandwiches for the lunch crowd, as well as some traditional bar snack items for appetizers, such as buffalo chicken wings, which were crunchy and delicious. My brother had the burger and said it was very good, and I opted for a more simple chicken caesar wrap. Unlike a traditional caesar wrap, this one included red onions, swiss cheese, and pickles, which gave it a little bit of an original feel. I wouldn’t have minded just a little bit more dressing in it, but it was still very good. The French fries were also really nice — very crispy and thoroughly cooked. Our only complaint from the meal would be that the bar’s soda gun doesn’t seem to be calibrated quite right yet. Our Cokes were very watered down, forcing us to switch to water halfway through the meal. However, our server took them off the bill, which was a nice gesture. Bistro should do well in this fast-growing area of Shreveport, especially with its moderate prices. My brother and I had lunch with our grandmother and the whole bill was only about $ 45, which is about what you’ll pay per person if you go to the original location for dinner. Overall, a great addition to South Shreveport!
