Horrible wait time I called an order in at 1:44 get here at 1:58 on a meal that was suppose to only take 15 minutes and still waiting on my food. What is the point of calling something in a head of time and no one even respects your order enough to have it ready. Actual time food was recieved 2:15

The food used to be much better. And the place looks and smells kind of old. I fear the glory days have passed.

I was expecting the food to be a lot better than it was but I was very disappointed in the entrée. I ordered the Red Beans and Rice with fried catfish. The red beans and rice looked like it came out of a can and the catfish tasted like frozen fish sticks that were thawed out all night. It was so bad that I couldn’t even eat the catfish. My server was very nice and offered to bring me something else so I tried the pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious. I’m not a fan of pumpkin but the server talked me into it. I’m glad I tried it because it was really good. Unfortunately, I also noticed my booth had a very foul odor that started to turn my stomach. The server was great but the food and overall experience at the restaurant was not.

Great waiter. There is no one who makes the blackened bayou chicken with mushroom dressing. Just crazy delicious. The red velvet cheesecake did not disappoint. Wonderful flavor.

Great stop. Service was excellent and food was better then expected from a chain restaurant. I wouldn’t have a problem recommending Copeland or going back.

Dishes were Good, tasty, hot and wait times were minimal. Blackened Bayou chicken, very good. Jambalaya shrimp pasta delicious. Chicken Alfredo good. Standard blackened chicken excellent and their red beans and rice are some of the better ones in town. Dessert was white chocolate bread pudding and it was incredible. Reason for only 4 stars is the building is beginning to show its age. Wait staff was excellent.

I always get the eggplant pasta and the spinach artichoke dip, which is prepared to perfection every time. Wonderful flavor and polite staff. Also, these folks know how to prepare some good drinks.

The lady working the front wasn’t very friendly. Our wait was minimal and we were seated by the manger on duty. Our waitress was very sweet and did a wonderful job attending to us. Our food was average and the soup was lukewarm. The crab laws by far was the best part of our meal along with our side item– the red beans and rice. We didn’t have a bad experience but it was not a memorable one either.

Enjoyed the red beans and rice and the king cake cheesecake. The manager is classy and professional. Staff worked together well to manage a busy dining room. Would return.

Had a great server for our large party. Other than that, not much to say. Nice restaurant, but food was not memorable; over-priced. «Average» food was the claim of most of our guests: from the Jumbalya to Gumbo to Seafood Platter. Was really expecting an oral taste explosion after scanning the menu; couldn’t figure out what to order for fear of missing out on something not chosen. But, alas, sorely disappointed. Now, a couple of the specialty drinks were enjoyed by a couple guests — Eye of the Storm, Strawberry Margarita. I should have none better though… when you scan Unilocal reviews and find few recommendations on specific dishes you know something is up. Guess I’ve gotta wait to get to New Orleans for good cajun/creole.

We called in October to make reservations for dinner, after my sister’s college graduation. After being told we’d waited too long to call and they couldn’t accommodate us, we were told we could be accommodated, provided we gave them $ 1000 deposit and signed a catering contract. We really should’ve taken the hint, that they weren’t really interested in our business. But we finally said we would just go elsewhere, and magically we were given a reservation We arrived at our reservation time and were made to wait an additional 20 minutes, while they«waited for our server». Once seated, our very friendly server took our drink orders. We didn’t see her again for half an hour. 45 minutes into our odyssey, we were just having our orders taken. Our server could not have been nicer, but the food didn’t get to our faces, until almost 2 hours after we arrived. And when it did? There was a collective fail trumpet that could be heard across the table. My fries and shrimp were stone cold and tasteless. My husband’s steak was less than 6oz, and topped the charts at $ 32. Another guest at our table ordered shrimp and crab salad, where there was literally, one shrimp, and one chunk of crab. When she asked to see the manager about the food, she was given a discount… of $ 2.50. My husband’s and my bill, for some tasteless shrimp, a tiny steak and two iced teas was $ 70. The prices are completely absurd for what you get, and the service, while friendly, is glacial. None of our party will be back, and we were all disappointed that we were there tonight.

Had a large party and it took forever to be served. The waitress was good just needed help for our large party. 15 people and one waitress is ridiculous. We were there for 4 hours! Also the food was salty. More than likely won’t be back.

This is an awesome place to go for lunch. They are a semi chain restaurant but it’s delish. They have awesome lunch specials and on Mondays especially. They also have the club card that you can join and earn points to get a free dinner on your birthday or a free dessert on your anniversary. I’ve signed up and I can’t wait till my birthday!!!

Oh my GOD. It is so good I won’t even abbreviate it. Ordered the crab cakes and shrimp Alfredo and Cajun crawfish pasta. THOSECRABCAKESAREONPOINT, SON. I have never been this crazy about food. I will now say for the first time in my life, I have experienced a food-gasm all thanks to those crab cakes. Oh yeah, that Cajun crawfish pasta was alright. The Cajun was a little bit too over powering for me but hey if you like Cajun, go for it. BUTTHEMCRABCAKESTHO!

Usually no wait, even on busy nights, large seating area and well staffed. Food is consistently«good” – not great, not mediocre. Staff is friendly. The exception is brunch. There is never enough food, never enough staff. The desserts are wonderful and they have an espresso bar.

What can I say about Copeland’s of New Orleans? Besides the food and drinks were very yummy and fulfilling, only issue that could use some solving is the customer service and the wait time of the waiter. I’ve waited tables and have been a bartender, so I couldn’t quite figure out why our waiter was slow and didn’t utilize a tray or something other hands besides himself. Anywho, when you walk into the restaurant on a Sunday around 12ish you are greeted by live music and smells of food. The hostess was very respectable and didn’t find it hard to get us a booth. On to the food! It’s Sunday brunch so my cousins and my girlfriend looked at the brunch buffet that was there and they said it didn’t look to appealing so we stuck to the menu foods. We love pasta so the pasta dishes we chose were pretty delish and seasoned well. Only thing I didn’t get a chance to picture was the Black Tuxedo cheesecake, which I ate on the road back to Houston. My, oh my! That cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had and I don’t eat many desserts out. but this one was by far the BEST! Thank you Copeland’s we will return again.
