The name of this store brings to mind the great Stephen King film of the same name. Actually, this store has re-located from Vivian. It was formerly titled«Friggin’ Cool Resale”-read my review here on Unilocal, but they were forced to leave their Vivian location because of the expansion to the North Caddo Medical Center. The owners had re-located to Vivian after evacuating from New Orleans and Katrina. I hope that Shreveport will prove to be sturdier ground and that this store will finally have a permanent home here. This store is located in the same shopping center on Kings Hwy as the old Robinson’s Rescue. It is located next door to another new business«Pop N Pizza”-read my review here on Unilocal! And also next door to El Compadre Mexican restaurant-read my review here on Unilocal. This store truly has a little bit of everything. Stuff you always wanted and stuff you never knew you wanted. Original personal photographs of Elvis, check. A shotglass from Gilley’s in Pasadena, Texas(site of Urban Cowboy!) Check. Six Million Dollar Man puzzle in the container, check. Vintage and original hippie chick clothing galore along with go go boots and platform-heeled shoes, check. Tons and tons of kitsch, cds, dvds, buttons, patches, zippo lighters, more and more odds and ends, etc. You just have to come in here to check out all this weird and whacky stuff! Seriously, you’re gonna hafta take a few laps around this tiny store just to take it all in, and even then you probably won’t see it all. This place is awesome! Very New Orleans. Very Austin-y. I dig it! They also take debit cards and credit cards. Lots of vintage and strange and unusual stuff here! You must come see! I don’t think they do consignment here.
