My first experience with Orange Leaf has been here in Shreveport, though I’ve been to a number of different yogurt shops, both chain and independent. I would rank Orange Leaf among the best in terms of flavor, texture, and freshness of toppings. Their pistachio in particular is fantastic but I enjoy most of what I’ve tried. The shop is also clean and nicely laid out. Price is average for these shops but overall I’m a fan!

An interesting variety of flavors makes this frozen yogurt different. Red Velvet Vanilla swirl hit the spot.

There are so many places like this, within such close proximity to one another, even the names are similar and it can be confusing(Red Mango/Orange Leaf/Fruity Yogo. etc.) And nothing too spectacular that makes any of them stand apart from the others. Self serve, 49 cents an ounce seems to be the standard go round. What makes this Orange Leaf location stand out both the good and the bad are the following, on the good, they have good, unique flavors such as banana nut bread and peanut butter and both flavors taste like the real deal! On the bad, for whatever reason, they have no signage posted on the walls in this store. Nothing telling you about specials, flavors, policies or promotions. Kinda weird. Gotta ask the employees or they have to outright verbally present you with the information. Call me old school, but I like to see it in writing, maybe I’m just slow like that. Otherwise, you gotta hang on the employee’s every word. And when you get down to it, with any of these places, you can easily spend 5 bucks and look in your cup and really, there’s hardly any yogurt in there at all! I mean, crap, I coulda bought a footlong sub or a tub of Blue Bell for the cost of this little bitty ol’ yogurt! But when comparing all of the similar yogurt places around this area, I think I like Red Mango best. I like their flavors, signage and vibe. Red Mango has awesome smoothies as well!
