I’ve been intrigued by this establishment for months, and curiosity finally got the best of me. I figured that a place called The Cinnamon Roll House would have the best cinnamon rolls in town. As my daughter and I walked up, it smelled like promise. My heart fluttered as I walked up to the counter, but when I beheld the cinnamon rolls, my heart sank a little. They looked a little boring. I was already committed. I had to see if my eyes were accurately reflecting average cinnamon rolls. Indeed, they were. They were dryish and crumbly, almost as if these were some cornbread/cinnamon abomination. They weren’t, but that is what came to mind. The cinnamon was also used sparingly and tasted like run of the mill Ben E. Keith cinnamon. I would source more exotic and flavorful cinnamon if I wanted to be known as a cinnamon roll proprietor. At Kroger, I can easily get Saigon cinnamon and it far outpaces the mediocre McCormick spice. In sum, they are adequate, but I prefer the ooey goodness of Cinnabon, or even Pillsbury.

The sandwiches are yummy! Chicken Salad & The Turkey on Jalapeño cheese roll! The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean! This was my third visit. I will return.

Lovely new establishment. Plenty of smiles upon entering. Wonderful looking cinnamon rolls(haven’t tried those yet) but tins of other things too. Grab an oatmeal and pile on the fruit. Grab a waffle or hot cake breakfast. Plenty of lunch sandwiches as well as a soul food for lunch. Lots of different salads. Quick and easy. Try their famous Razzle. It’s a frozen explosion(nope haven’t tried that either. I’m on a diet!)
