Nice location snuggled in Downtown Sidney. Yesterday, I enjoyed the spicy shrimp which has a very nicely seasoned breeding and the Ahi Tuna which was AMAZING! For my main course, I enjoyed the«Bridge» burger which can easy feed 2 or more people. Although next time I’ll order it with my bacon fried hard, It was delicious also! Today, we stopped for lunch before getting on the road to head back to Detroit. I’ll be trying the crab cakes.

A truly lovely restaurant with beautiful ambiance and a nice menu. After a very long week of work in the area(I live on the East Coast and came here on a recommendation from a colleague) this was the best choice I could make in the area. The Chardonnay was perfectly chilled as was the Wedge salad; crisp and the perfect size. I ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Florentine with Angel Hair pasta was cooked PERFECTLY! The seafood was fresh and tender! I finished with a freshly brewed cup of coffee they they served with a single perfect chocolate truffle! I loved this place and I’ll definitely be back. Should you go here? Of course!!!

So I get frustrated when Unilocalers focus on some relatively minor negative and give a bad review but I’m going to do the same thing. So keep that in mind if you read on. First, I’ll say that the food was okay. But it was certainly overpriced. A 7 ounce filet with a salad and one side for $ 37 is over the top in Sidney. That said, the steak was well cooked. The real issue arose when I looked online and reviewed the menu before arrival. What I didn’t realize was that the menu posted online dated back to 2011. The prices are 25 to 30% off across the board. In passing, I asked the bartender if she’d ever looked at the website? She immediately & proactively acknowledged that the menu is totally wrong online. This fact clued me in that they are aware but choose not to act. In principle, I have a real problem with this practice. I’m on an expense account and probably would have eaten here if they HAD advertise the correct prices. But to not update your website feels dishonest.

My company does a lot of business lunches/dinners here. The atmosphere reminds me of a cigar lounge — dimly lit(even during the day) with dark wood tables and walls. The service is great and friendly. The food is pretty average and slightly overpriced. Definitely not going to to knock your socks off but you will be satisfied.

Just happened to be going to Sidney around lunch time and so looked for a good place to eat. The reviews looked decent so we tried The Bridge. It was somewhat of a disappointment. Between the two of us, we had the onion soup(good, fairly typical cheesy French onion style), the beef vegetable soup(way too salty with what seemed like frozen or canned vegetables – certainly not fresh veggies), Caesar salad(rather plain with not much dressing), and a spicy chicken sandwich(over-cooked, dry, and without much flavor except for the heat which seemed much like a fast food version of a spicy chicken sandwich). The service was adequate except the server kept telling us she would be «right back» with various items and then would come by after a while and realize she hadn’t brought what she said. A bit spacey throughout. All in all, the experience was nothing that would recommend a return trip. Too bad. It’s a nice space and menu that seemed to have some promise, but just wasn’t a good experience for us.

Great Service, very nice place, good atmosphere. Food was good but not excellent so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I ordered the shrimp and scallop florentine. The scallops were a little rubbery I’m not sure I would order again. I asked for a side of marinara sauce for the buttered spaghetti and the marinara suave was great. My wife’s pecan chicken tasted great. It came with sweet potato soufflé which she thought was a bit heavy. Overall it was a good meal and a welcome stop from the highway. They had a very good beer list as well which was very nice.

Amazing place. Mr. Dennis Stearley from Emerson was kind enough to take me for a Lunch on the last day. This was place was phenomenal… We can talk about so much about the architecture, history and what not. People who served were super nice. This is a great place for group and Emerson Climate Technologies events. they really care and do a great job. I was so amazed and could take some pictures. Super good. This is one of the best in entire SIDNEY Downtown, Ohio… in Sidney, Ohio, United States:)

Very Good food and excellent service. Stephanie was a great server. She was very helpful and friendly. We felt welcomed and they appreciated our choosing them for dinner. They had live music, which fit perfectly with our evening. If you want a nice place to take a special someone for a nice meal and nice atmosphere, this is the place.

Good food… steaks are pretty high priced. Love the beer selection, especially the IPAs. Expect $ 30 to $ 45 per person! Cool building and decorations.

I can’t tell you much about the food, service or décor, because the restaurant canceled my reservation without telling me. Thirteen family members from across Ohio met there only to find out the restaurant was closed when we arrived — despite the fact they’d taken my reservation a month earlier. Someone polite and helpful who was cleaning the restaurant answered the phone and told me he could see my reservation had been canceled. NOONE told me! The cleaner gave my contact information to the owner who did not even call me to apologize. Needless to say, thirteen people are very disappointed.

Atmosphere at The Bridge is nice and servers are very friendly and helpful with the menu. Ahi tuna and shrimp cocktail were enjoyable — especially the cocktail sauce it is a specialty I highly recommend. Turkey sandwich was good and the fried chips are addictive — you will eat them all. Only one downside was slow food service. In the evening a slow meal is enjoyable but at lunch it’s nice to keep it moving a little. I would recommend the Bridge to anyone.

Great first impression but completely underwhelming after that. The only good thing after the first impression was that the grey goose was priced right. Other than that, I had a below average $ 35 ribeye with no flavor, specialty potatoes that needed salt and the croutons for my salad had sat in the walk-in for who knows how long. By far one of the worst $ 50 dining experiences, I’ve ever experienced. Oh and the bartender was about as good as the food.

The Bridge has a diverse menu and a friendly waitstaff. It’s in a lovely spot in downtown Sidney where one might not expect a restaurant of this caliber. We had the pork chop special and pasta and the ahi tuna app which was stellar. The food was excellent. Decent wine selection as well, Duckhorn and Cakebread! Highly recommended.

Best place to eat in Sidney! It’s hard to find good tuna in the Midwest and they have a great appetizer of Seared Tuna!!! It’s a must have if you go.

Best little secret in Sidney. Delicious steaks and a lunch menu 2nd to none. All food is cooked with a wood fired oven. When you walk in you can smell the aroma. A must visit if in town. Medium to upscale pricing. Great place for a couple.

My husbsnd and I have eaten here many times, I can only think of one time that service was lacking. but you will have that sometimes no matter where you go. The staff is always friendly and the food is very good, might I add there is nothing in comparison in sidney. The entertainment is a excellent, we really enjoy listening to Rick Frazier. I suggest you give The Bridge a try I think you will be pleasantly surprised. very classy with a relaxed dress code.

I had just horrible service at this restaurant. The worst part about it, though, is that when we raised our concern with the owner, the response was one of defensiveness and making us wrong for raising the issue. There was no apology. There was no effort by the owner to take care of our party. It was like he just couldn’t care less. What a shame, as the food was pretty good.

I’ve only made it all the way up to Sydney once, but I ate here and the food was awesome! It’s a little bit pricier than your average restaurant, but it’s not like fine dining, and there’s no dress code that suggests that! The general manager was on duty when we were there, and from the sounds of it, he’s there just about everyday, for the whole day — that’s commitment! He came over to our table and asked how we were enjoying our food, and sat down with us to tell us about the food and how it was prepared — he was an extremely nice guy! The Bridge usually has specials for holidays. For New Years Eve that had some sort of deal where each guest got a meal and drinks and champagne. One thing to keep in mind is that they are closed on Sundays — Everyone needs a break, right? I highly suggest you check this place out!
