We were pretty impressed. Good portions. Wish a little more selection but what we had was good. No kids menu, but they were willing to split plates. No veggies served with plates. Even mixed veggies would have been ok. Mashed potatoes homemade and excellent. Kids loves the root beer floats. Good meal, nice atmosphere, nice leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch.

My husband and I try to support local businesses in our area. Yes, I know we live in rural Upstate New York, and small eateries have problems with staffing and making ends meet. We thought we had found our breakfast place. Well, I was disappointed this morning. The problem is consistency. I guess making good scrambled eggs is a mystery to every place we have eaten, not only The Chuck Wagon. This morning the eggs were overlooked and reminded me of gravel. Ambiance and an attentive wait staff is not enough. So the plus is a real parking lot and really nice décor. The price aren’t bad. I really want to come back again. I am willing to try their barbecue dishes. I hope I won’t be disappointed.

Clean, but I ordered their signature dish, the ribs, and they were okay. I expected better from a BBQ restaurant

Went there for breakfast and we were the only ones there. The food was just okay. Don’t think we will go back.

Very homie feel, friendly staff, and super clean. The food, not completely impressed with — the cream of potato soup was good though I wish the potatoes had more of a chance to cook through; did not enjoy the brisket at all — just dry and could use some seasoning. The meatloaf was good, not at all dry and had good flavor. Considering the location, not sure if I’ll ever visit again but(considering the location) it’s probably a decent option in the area.

We arrived just before closing time(8pm) @ 7:30pm on a Wednesday evening. There was one other couple there. The service was friendly and the food came fast. My husband ordered the chuck wagon burger, I had the mushroom & swiss burger and our children(both under 5yrs old) split a chicken tenders basket with fries & coleslaw. All of the food was fresh… the burger meat was well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The chicken tenders were a nice surprise in that they were actual white meat chicken and freshly breaded(taste). The pricing was reasonable. We will recommend this place to our family & friends as well returning ourselves… what a great local find!

We enjoyed dinner tonight at the Chuck Wagon Grill. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The first dining room has tables and a second dining room has booths. My son and I both ordered the meatloaf dinner special which was served with gravy, mashed potatoes and corn bread. I also ordered a plain iced tea while he had a ginger ale. All were very good. The dinners cost $ 8.25 each and they were worth it. Soda with free refills was $ 2.25 My daughter ordered the BBQ chicken dinner special which was served with mashed potatoes, gravy, potato salad and corn. The chicken dinner cost $ 9.50 and our waitress said it was their most popular dish. She also had a root beer with her meal. The waitress brought a small bucket for the chicken bones and little handiwipe packets to clean her hands with. Her 3-year-old daughter had the chicken tender platter which included homemade fries and coleslaw. This platter cost $ 7.25 and there was way more than she could eat. She also had a bottle of apple juice, which was $ 2. They did not have a separate kids menu, but they do have many choices that kids would enjoy(grilled cheese, hot dog, mac n cheese, etc). I tried the homemade fries and they were excellent. My daughter and grandchild also shared a brownie sundae which was a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and 2 swirls of whipped cream on either side. That was $ 4. Additionally, the menu had options for breakfast, lunch and dinner which the waitress said we could order from any of those choices, as well as the 2 boards hanging on the wall with their specials. So there were plenty of items to choose from. Our meals were served in a very timely fashion and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

New restaurant in town, very clean inside and out. Menu has quite a few selections, plus good daily specials which I had. I had a pulled chicken sandwich on a kaiser roll served with homemade French fries very tasty and delicious, my sister had the ribs and French fries and she said very tasty and tender, sauce very good. Brother in law had a cheese omelet with toast. Prices very good and average for the area. Also take out service is available
