A truly authentic Italian gelato place!!! A MUST stop in Siesta Key Village. The flavor options are great and they even have non-dairy options which is a must for me. The cup sizes look small but you get so much gelato filled into the cup, it’s almost impossible to finish!
The man working when I went was so friendly and kind. A new favorite place!

Great! The pros go here rather than waiting down the block in the long line! I walked right up and had friendly service. I selected chocolate and it was delicious. The price was reasonable. They have a few tables out front.

The wait was nothing compared to Big Olaf’s and the gelato was excellent. While there was not a large amount of varieties the quality was top notch. One of the best limone gelato that I have had. The service was great and when back in Siesta Key we will be back. It was a great ending to a great weekend.

My favorite place to eat gelato! Authentic Italian gelato ! The pistachio is fabulous, you can taste a real pieces of pistachio when you eat it! I love even the real espresso, best coffee in Siesta key!
The staff is very friendly! Love Ciao Gelato!

I came here after dinner last night with some friends. I had the salted caramel & the chocolate hazelnut. It was pretty good. The gelato was nice & creamy. The staff was pleasant. I will stop in again if I’m out that way.

We stopped by for some gelato for the family after visiting the Siesta Key beach. Only about 10 gelato flavors were available and the tiny one scoop sized cup was $ 5 but that’s pretty common I suppose. I had espresso and salted caramel gelato and the owner made sure to let me know the caffein content since it was in the evening when we were there. I thought that was considerate of her. ^^ its a small place tucked away from the main street and it was neat to sit outside listening to the music from other restaurants! nearby.

I love gelato. Love it! And this was a pleasant surprise! The girl working was extremely friendly and we had the place all to ourselves — it’s only a few doors down from Big Olaf’s. They have a trio of chocolate or even orange dreamsicle which I did not expect to enjoy but oh my goodness it was delicious! It’s definitely worth a try! The only thing that would be better is having more flavors to choose from!

Very convenient when place for gelato while in siesta key business district after long day at beach or pool. It was very refreshing. Great customer service. Wish they’re were more favors to choose from though. Overall it was great.

Place was packed. Don’t plan on eating inside. They will give you up to 3 samples a person! Was really good. Prices were high compared to other places on siesta key, but I would return.

We visited Siesta Key the same time last year and enjoyed a treat at Ciao Gelato. The server at
the time had just started and begged our patience as she was a little slow on some of the drinks
etc. We were delighted that the same server was here this year. She was super warm and friendly and the flavors were divine. We will visit Ciao again our next visit.

Gelato very delicious though a bit expensive. Not a lot of seating inside. Flavors included pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, and lemon. I think there were about ten choices. You can have up to three free samples.

Delicious rich gelatos that are clearly freshly made and 2 flavors per small cup. The Nocciolo which is Hazelnut is rich and smooth without being too sweet. The Almond Joy was just as smooth with chips of chocolate and pieces of almonds. The chocolate was the right mixture of chocolate and not too rich.
Waffle cones and espressos are also available. Only regret, a wider selection of more than 12 gelato flavors. It really helps they have their own parking, too. For the size, new business, wishing them much success.

I had been eager to try Ciao Gelato but was most disappointed. Their flavor selection was meager and very repetitive; two kinds of caramel, a couple of chocolates, a few with hazelnut, lemon, strawberry and vanilla.
I decided to go with sea salted caramel and espresso in a waffle cone. The cone was average at best, but as I started eating the gelato, I found that the flavors really had little taste. I was so disappointed that rather than wasting the calories, I threw away my ice cream. I guess it’s back to Big Olaf’s I go!

Came here twice on our vacation because I like it so much. My boyfriend is a big Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte fan, and he couldn’t stop saying how delicious the caramel latte was that he had! I had the vanilla gelato the first day and the hazelnut the next day. You can sample them all and even get a whole pound to go if you want. Haha. :)

I was excited to find a legit gelato place while I was in town. The staff was nice and friendly and took time to explain some of the flavors. All the flavors were delicious especially the berry and the peanut butter but as another reviewer said I also wished they had the traditional flavors since I was in the mood for something more classic but simple to enjoy. The texture of the gelato was nice and creamy and the waffle cone was good. A lot of other ice cream and gelato places I’ve been to sometimes had stale waffle cones. In short I was pretty satisfied with this place and would come again.
