I had write a big paragraph on why I don’t recommend this salon but I’ll keep it short and sweet. Makeup is overdone and orange, hair looks like a 5 minute updo rather than something that actually had time and effort put into it, and they don’t have enough time/help scheduled for bridal parties. The updo I got looked NOTHING like the picture and took about 5 minutes to do. Paid $ 65(price changed from the previous $ 50 quoted) and if that horrible updo was what I had wanted I could have done it myself. The bridesmaids showed different pictures of what they had wanted, yet each girl came out with the same exact updo. Do they only know how to do one kind of updo?

I am so disappointed. The owners wife was lovely but did a terrible job on my manicure. Unfortunately, I was flying back to SF that day and wished I could go back and show her what a terrible job she did. Lucy

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to this Salon this year. Kudos to Sally, the new owner! The Siesta Key Salon and Spa has transformed to pure perfection. I finally found a stylist who can color, cut and blow out my hair even in the Florida humidity. The Salon has a great staff who take pride in their work and really listen to the client. A great find for Men’s haircuts too. I can’t wait to return for a day of beauty in the sunshine state :). J. Barry

I had exceptional services at Siesta Key Spa and Salon during March and April. While most say it is never a good idea to go for a dramatic change in style and color while on vacation, especially with a stylist and salon unknown to you, I did just that with fantastic results. I brought a photo to Salon Manager Sally Armstrong and she created exactly what I was looking for, something which I had been trying to accomplish for some time with my home stylist. Sally listened carefully and also taught me how to create the style at home. I visited this salon 5 times during my two month stay and watched a number of other ladies come in with fairly significant changed to their styles. Sally was fearless in her approach at accommodating these requests, all which turned out to the delight of the customer! Sally also provided perhaps the best pedicure I have ever had, as did her colleague Miriam who serviced my sister in law. Never have I seen two professionals provide such extraordinary thoroughness in a pedicure, removing every bit of callouses. After two months my sister in law said her feet were still perfectly smooth. Finally Miriam provided me with a fabulous deep cleansing facial on my last day in Siesta Key. Her products were outstanding and my skin looks fantastic. I highly recommend this spa and the skilled hands of Sally and Miriam!

We did pedicures and manicures because it was a rainy day. This place is not worth the money. They are unprofessional and did a terrible job. I had to keep telling the lady she missed a spot and then she told me that I was making her nervous. OH and by the way she is the manager! My friend got a pedicure and one foot was shiny while the other was matted. They thankfully fixed it! My nails chipped within 12 hours and by day two all of them looked terrible. What a waste of 25 bucks for a smile manicure! There has to be better places on the island!

Not only is this place completely remodeled and transformed into one of the nicest hold in the wall spas I’ve ever been to, but the attention given to you is New York City style. From the accommodating wine or water, to the massage given to you when you’re hair is being washed. This team really knows what customer service means and go the extra mile to keep you satisfied. Not to mention the outstanding work these ladies do. I went in for a haircut and was early for my appointment so the ladies who did nails let me relax in the spa chair while I waited. Some new girls and rookies who have had 30+ years of experience. Someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the leaf that morning! V Definitely a place I keep coming back to. :)

Wow… I actually gagged at the grossness of this place I was scared I would catch something from my pedi… very run down and dirty not ideal for a mani/pedi.the lady was obviously in training still cause wow she had no idea what she was doing but yet kept grabbing very ‘used’ tools for my pedi and the mani just the same I spent over TWOHOURS getting a standard mani pedi and was RIPPEDOFF… I’m from Atlanta so I’m used to pricey nice places but OMG this was a shit hole and it’s the most expensive standard mani pedi I’ve had for Seventy Five dollars wow… beware I know I won’t be back next year when I’m in Sarasota… pls warn ur friends. It was not the people or the attitude that will keep me ever returning, but the disgusting practices and possibility of disease and the huge waste of my time.

My wife and I came upon this Spa while on vacation in Siesta Key. My wife had a facial and a manicure and I had a pedicure and manicure. The staff was excellent and thorough. My wife says it was one of the BEST facials she has ever had. I treat myself to a pedicure about twice a year and this one was terrific. If you are in Siesta Key, you should definitely stop by. GREAT people and terrific services.
