Good music on Halloween night. Food took a little bit to come out at 730ish dinner with a group of 4. Mussels were the best dish, others that were good are ribeye, bison meatloaf, ribs, fried mushroom. Was very busy by the time we left around 845 – 9 pm

Sad to say, but it appears Isaac’s is closed. We went by twice this weekend and a «For Lease» sign is in the window and it looks empty. What a shame!

Eh. Food is so hit or miss here, we’ve stopped having dinner here. Drinks are great and the duck fat fries are usually good. Go for the music, skip the food.

OK, they stopped serving liquor to me more family friendly, then there is a sign on the door that says children under 18 aren’t allowed after 4:30. Really???

An eclectic menu complete with bison meatloaf, relaxed atmosphere, and an excellent sunday brunch(love those bloody mary’s) make Isaac’s a great place to hang in Silver City.

This is the first place we ate when we arrived in Silver City. I had the bison sliders and a margarita. Very Good. Also recommend the Sunday brunch which goes till 4 pm. Bloody Mary and Mimosas were excellent.

OK, I try not to just toss out 5 star ratings like Halloween candy, but 3 simple words clinched it for Isaac’s– DUCKFATFRIES. Oh, yeah! Leave your«Eat This, Not That» book in the car, and step in for a serving of the yummiest plate of fries imaginable! Isaac’s is a great little Old West-style saloon/restaurant, in the cute, quaint, funky/quirky/artsy little town of Silver City. As my good friend Melissa Chambers(Of EXIT Horizons Realty, Las Cruces – Let her find just the right home for you! ***She paid for the meal. Will work for food!***) and I dined here, most of the clientele were watching the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers thwart their final challengers to Super Bowl glory. The was a nice-sized TV at the main bar, and a giant-screen theater-style lounge in the back, filled with fans. The entire atmosphere, football-mania aside, was friendly and comfortable. We had a great waitress; friendly and attentive. The menu was upscale bar fare. Melissa and I were both drawn to the bison burgers; hers with swiss cheese, mine with swiss and sauteed onions and mushrooms. Both were accompanied by the aforementioned duck fat fries. Everything was a delight! The burgers were outstanding, the fries delivered on their promise. It truly was an excellent, even remarkable meal. I enjoyed Silver City so much, that I plan to visit regularly, and Isaac’s will be a frequent stop as well!

We came during a trip to town, and were pleased to find this place. It was trivia night, but we opted to sit in the quieter bar area. Our server was a little out-of-whack, but the food was overall pretty good. I liked that they had buffalo meat on the menu in several dishes, and their draft beer selection wasn’t bad either. Bar food. For Silver City, I was impressed. I know that the downtown area is trying to grow, and I think this place will aide that effort. It is definitely geared toward a local hangout scene, and that can only be good for foot traffic in other sites.

Went there on Halloween night, which was great. It was the place to be in Silver on Halloween. Other than that, the place was kind of interesting. The dining room is enormous, and the atmosphere a little odd. Service was good, but totally unorganized. The waitresses seemed to be running around in a panic, nobody knew which table they had to cover. The food was basic, nothing to brag about. I did like the buffalo nachos, and my rib eye steak was decent. On my next trip, however, I think I’ll try somewhere else in town.

Just beware that you have to be 21 just to sit down and eat. Anytime anyday.

I visited Isaac’s on a 8⁄809 while on vacation in Silver City. It was a Saturday night and the place wan’t very packed, I’d say at about 2⁄3 capacity when we walked in at about 9:30pm but became less and less packed at the night progressed. There was a great cumbia band there, but the music was definitely too loud, there was no chance at a conversation, and yet the dancefloor was virtually empty. The atmoshere was very cozy and welcoming. The service was great, even though out server was taking care of ½ the people in the restaurant we never had to wait long for our drinks and he was very friendly. He even brought us chips, salsa and guacamole even though the kitchen was closed and he saw that we were disappointed. The mojitos were pretty good and the beer was cheap(no beer was over $ 4.50, most were $ 3.50) Cons: Music too loud, closes at 12am. Pros: Great atmoshpere, great service

Trivia night is fun, lively crowd(Wednesday night, i think??). Good beer selection. Delicious fries fried in duck fat! Service could be better though. Very tasty blue cheese dressing on Cobb Salad.

Good food and a great beer selection. They had New Belgium Fat Tire, a New Belgium Seasonal(which was Skinny Dip), and Stone IPA on tap(as well as others). All three great beers, and enough to make me quite content with the Beer selection. I had a «greek quesadilla» and it was really good. Though there were less simple things on the menu that I’m sure would’ve been good as well. I just wasn’t that hungry. I had my fill of beer.
