Have eaten at Tre Rosat more than I can count. Food is great as well as the service and attitude. Try everything!

Great seasonal menu. Food is always delicious. Each dish is presented well and you can see that the chef care and plate each order perfectly. The pricing is a little steep for the amount of food you get but we don’t mind paying extra for quality and creativity. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly too.

Overpriced, bland, uninspired meals. Bring plenty of dough, but not your family or friends. I have tried half a dozen times to enjoy this place, but the servers have plenty of excuses as to why it was just not their day.

Margherita pizza is exceptional. Well worth the price. Nice atmosphere and a good selection of beers and wine. I highly recommend this place based on my experience.

Tre Rosat is one of my favorite restaurants in Silver City. I just moved here about a month ago, and my partner and I have tried almost every restaurant in this town.. The food is traditional but has an experimental quality to it. They also have lots gluten free options, including GF pasta and a Paleo cake for dessert. I was not expecting to find many GF options in such a small city, but Tre Rosat makes it possible for me to eat delicious, GF food. The owner/chef is very personable, and will come to your table to make sure you are happy with your meal. He even brought us complimentary glasses of port one night. This is hand’s down one of the best places to eat in Silver City.

I really wanted to love this place-nice atmosphere and friendly service, but the food was a disappointment(except the bacon wrapped dates appetizer, which was excellent). My dinner salad had 5 or 6 black, slimy pieces of lettuce in it that I had to pick out. I really should have sent it back, but didn’t want to delay our meal. They really need to check their salad greens for freshness before placing in front of a customer. My entrée,(Pasta Diavolo?) with shrimp added was just OK — for $ 20 I expected better. The house focaccia was tasteless with a blah texture.

I want to make it clear I wouldn’t judge a restaurant on one visit… We all have bad days. So I base this review on two visits over the last month. I like the place and the staff but the food is over priced for what you get. I know my fault for ordering a steak, someday I’ll learn steak is best done in your home, but this didn’t even start out right. $ 28 for a cut(rib eye?) that was 30% fat, and devoid of taste. I’ve cooked a lot of steaks in many different ways and always take solace when a certain approach fails because in the end I just like steak even when done poorly. This was probably the first cut I’ve had in awhile that I didn’t really enjoy at all. The salad had limp lettuce with black edges on it. Nobody really looked at this when serving it. It wasn’t just one piece but several. Spoils the whole salad and should never have been served. The bread was dry and tasteless My first meal there had similar issues, the food was fairly tasteless and expensive. Each meal, two people, no wine(except for this whine) and dessert for $ 100. That’s just too much for either of those meals. I don’t like writing bad reviews… But think the owners should be aware of what customers are thinking, good and bad.

First things first: the setting is perfect. It sits on a hill and the spacious porch allows you to eat and soak up the wonderful serenity of the surroundings. Now to the important stuff: the food. We had white chicken chili and split a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with slaw. They said 90– something percent of their food is made from scratch. Your first bite will tell you as much. It was delicious. Wish we had time and appetite to try more things, but we were just passing through. Do yourself a favor– if you live in the area or are passing through, try this place.

The food was delicious!!! I love going there, it’s one of our favorite spots in Silver City, each time I discover something more amazing than what I had the last time. This place is a true Gem!

Good café with great food. The food was really good but they did take a little long to even get us bread. And there was no kid –friendly dishes. But other than that it was pretty good. Since my daughter is a vegetarian, they really didn’t have many options… as she called it «a murder house» «very good but make sure to stay away from the animal carcasses…» But that’s a bit harsh. Even so, she ended up with the blue cheese and pear pizza; she loved it. The kale and blueberry salad is also great. We have to come here next time-no exceptions! Btw I did not write this review, my daughters did. Any similarity to actual reviews is purely coincidental! this is the wife. Have to say, the almond encrusted(vegetarian) stuffed poblano was to die for!!! Exquisite! Also the Michael– David winery selection(glass red wine) was Great! I liked the location and staff was friendly. Three of us would give 5 stars but my youngest daughter who is exceedingly demanding said 3 stars so that is why we gave four stars.

I came on a Wednesday evening at 7:40pm. The restaurant had 8 – 9 patrons when I arrived. I asked to be seated by the window but was told those seats are reserved for parties of 4 or more. I looked around and realized there are 5 open large tables and 5 open tables that seat 3 or more. I was seated in the back near the kitchen at a table that seats three. It’s just uncomfortable to have an almost empty restaurant and the staff is discriminatory about where I sit. The large tables were never occupied the entire time I was there. As for the food I was disappointed. The«fresh» bread was dry and hard. The butter was good. I am confused by the Italian feel of the menu and yet there are Asian wontons on the Cesar salad. I had the eggplant Parmesan. Presentation is pretty but undercooked. The slices are too think. Sorry this restaurant isn’t great in my opinion. My server was really nice though.

The food is delicious. We had the chicken chili and it was really good — great seasoning. We also had the Cobb salad. The mix of vegetables was great and the green chile ranch dressing was excellent! It’s got a good atmosphere with large wood tables. The staff was also super friendly.

Such a great little restaurant in such a small town! Tre Rosat was a breath of fresh air food wise after eating non-stop fast food & Mexican food while staying in Silver City for a week while dealing with a family emergency. Sat down for a lovely meal of soup, salad & white wine. I had the soup of the day(French Onion) which was AMAZING! Some of the best French Onion I’ve tasted. The wine was delicious & the salad was pretty good too — a Caesar Salad with a bit of a different take: wonton strips instead of croutons & bacon added. The only downside was how expensive the entire meal is. $ 100 w/tip for 3 people who all had soups & salads & wine. A little surprising, but I guess since it’s such a small town & harder to get fresh ingredients prices might be higher. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Silver City!

Fabulous meal. Fabulous service. But let me elaborate… I came in to Silver City on a business trip, on a Monday, and turned to Unilocal to guide me in my search for dinner. I found Tre Rosat Café around 7, open and pretty empty, but absolutely happy to feed my party of one. I was greeted promptly by a wonderful young woman, whose name I did not get, and seated. She brought me water, menues, gave me time to ponder both my drink and dinner selection, and bestowed me with a generous gift of house baked bread and butter plate. Three. Different. Butters. I ordered a beer from their well-stocked menu(they also have beers on tap on special!) and decided on the Lasagna, featuring housemade pasta, bechamel cheese, meatballs and spinach. It blew my mind; flavors were perfect and because it is baked in its own tiny dish, each bite stayed hot through to the sad but imminent end of meal. This was a meal worth savoring. I enjoyed it immensely and will definitely return/recommend to anyone I know traveling through Silver City!!!

I love visiting the historical districts of old towns in New Mexico(or any place for that matter). Inevitably I have a divine ability to stumble on rare finds like this establishment. The service to the food was exquisite. I had their special pasta of the night of Rosemary Chicken over homemade spaghetti. Combined with the Caesar Salad, homemade breads and assorted homemade speciality butters accompanied by a local New Mexico wheat beer it could not have been any better. What a jewel to have the pleasure of dining in on a 6 day trip from NM to CA to visit family.

OMG! I had their take on Ratatouille and tried to prolong the luxurious taste as long as possibly could. Slow consumption and long savory moments made my dinner delightful. My husband even offered me a taste of his yummy looking spaghetti and I turned him down because I did not want to interrupt the buttery delicate flavor of the vegetables. I thought zucchini was tasteless before this dish. Ordered the Lavender Crème Brûlée for desert and was not disappointed at all. The Tre Rosart Café is on my list from now on. And the salad was fresh and varied with cucumbers and a variety of vegetables. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the salad dressing. It was a balsamic vinegar but seemed a bit alien. I will return. Anxious to try their other dishes.

This place came highly recommended so I tried it tonight for dinner. Ordered the Veggie Pesto Pizza – goat cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and of course pesto all on a really tasty fluffy crust. It was delicious! Would definitely order it again. Also got the French lemon custard with caramel sauce for dessert – very subtle favors accented with what seemed to be a sprinkle of sea salt and chili. Pretty good as well. The only hiccup was when the waitress came out to let me know that the kitchen had burned my pizza but brought some fresh sweet potato chips to tide me over while I waited a little longer which was nice. The waitresses were overall attentive and seemed to know the regular patrons by name and order which was cool. Would definitely come back… just not when I’m in a hurry.
