I stayed at the B&B for a few weeks this year while I was transitioning to a new home. It was a fantastic place to stay! Christina, the owner, makes you feel at home, and the accommodations are very relaxing. I stayed in the African Tapestry suite, with an extremely comfy bed, nice sitting area with a flat screen TV, and a very cool bathroom(heated tile floors, anyone?) Definitely enough room to feel comfortable! I always had a great breakfast. Christina would ask for my likes/dislikes, and she learned what my favorites were and always had them around.(Ask for her homemade pear preserves — it’s great). There is ample on-street parking in he neighborhood, enough that I never actually had to parallel park(which is a good thing, I’m a parking wimp). It’s also very close to the Forest Glen metro, and to the shops at seminary place(CVS, Snider’s). One note: you must like(or not mind) cats if you stay here. She has 2 cats, one of whom loves to visit your room and snuggle. I love cats so I welcomed him, but just consider yourself alerted! One other note: I love that in addition to running a great B&B, Christina runs a nonprofit organization to help orphans in struggling communities. She’s a true hard worker!
