Kamna’s Threading

First time getting eyebrows threaded, was looking on Unilocal and found Kamba. She is so sweet, takes her time, and is very very very good. Go here, you won’t regret it. I’m so happy Unilocal guided me to her. She’s got a new regular customer.

so excited i finally found a threading place close to me that doesn’t suck!
i used to have my go-​to place in Durham, NC but when I moved back to MD couldn’t find anywhere that did a good job. Unilocal helped me find this place! I walked in on a Wednesday after work around 5PM. Luckily she was there but she said to ALWAYS call before going in case she is not there. she did such a great job! found my staple threading place, i’ll definitely be there regularly!

She’s very sweet, always asking how my day was and what I’ve been up to. She’s very thorough with her work. So far, I only get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. But I’ll definitely try more of her services in the near future.
I think it’s genius that she converted her garage into a legit beauty salon.

I’ve been getting my eyebrows done by Kamna for several months now. She’s always available when I need and does a good job. She remembered who I was after just my second session, she also listens to what you want done. I am a frequent customer of hers.
Her location is the garage of her house, would always suggest giving a call and letting her know when you arrive.

Tip– Kamna’s Threading is located in the garage of her house. She converted her garage into a threading salon. It’s the first house on the right when you turn onto the street. Give her a call if you don’t see Kamna in her salon because she does go back into her house if her schedule is free. Hope this tip is helpful to new customers.0
I found Kamna’s Threading through Unilocal and was so happy she is located her my parents. Now I can visit my parents and get my eyebrows done. My eyebrows are naturally uneven and hard to do (at least that is what others have told me) but Kamna does a good job and I feel like a new person afterwards. I also like that it’s more affordable than other places I’ve been to. I currently pay $ 16 for eyebrows and upper lips threading, not including tips.

I have been to Kamna’s for her eyebrow services three times already and she never disappoints! The only reason I havent been in a while is because I opted for a closer location, but that place is becoming a little bad for my eyebrows which are like the makeup to my face! Though Kamna is $ 2 more than the place I go to frequently, Im coming back to her because she always makes sure things are nice before I leave. So in closing, shes a nice person, great business lady, has nice items for sale in her space, and does a GREAT job on the brows! I recommend her indefinitely.

I only go to Kamna’s to get my threading done!
She’s very thorough! My face always looks brighter after she works on my eyebrows and upper lip. Perhaps I need to go more frequently?!
At other places I’ve gone to in the past, threading hurts a lot! I’m not sure what technique she uses, but when she does the threading, it doesn’t hurt quite as much!
She’s very friendly and pleasant. She definitely wants you to be comfortable and relaxed while she works on you. I know she offers other services, like waxing, but I haven’t tried it yet.
Make sure you call ahead to make sure she’s available to take you.

Kamna is excellent. Some people are afraid to do my eyebrows, but she knew just how to do them. The last time I got my done good. I had to go to Newark Abe in jersey city. Will be back when I come down from NJ.

First time getting my eyebrows done and Kamna was super nice about it and did an excellent job on them. It was slightly more painful than I imagined but worth it!

I found kamna on Unilocal.My old brow lady at Ulta was gone and I was in desperate search for someone to take her place. I tried another waxing spot, and also tried BrowArt23. None of them left me thrilled. When I tried kamna I wa ecstatic. Not only am I leaving with the best (shaped, healthy brows), this is the best price I have paid for brows in years. At $ 10 kamna does my brows just as well as the $ 20 I was spending at Ulta. As long as kamna is around, I will be there! If you’re questioning it, just go!!! She is very friendly and AMAZING at what she does!!!

I’ve been going to Kamna for my eyebrows after growing tired of botched jobs in miscellaneous nail salons. Whenever I get my eyebrows done in those salons I’m emphatically stern when I say «Not thin». I repeat it several times. I get the technician to repeat after me. Not thin! Sometimes it works and I’m okay with it and other times… not so much and my eyebrows are red from so much hair having been waxed off. Anyway, at first I was a little hesitant about the basement thing with Kamna but its always clean, she’s so nice, and she’s super flexible with her schedule. She does an amazing job threading and she’s well worth the $ 10.

I WAS not a big fan of threading because if my one and only experience with the technique at another place was really painful. I thought I would give it another go about a year later at Kamnas, since I did notice that with threading it took longer for my eyebrow hair to grow back and the shape looked very precise and clean.
Kamna was polite, kind, and very very gentle, I didn’t feel that much discomfort at all. I truly would recommend her to anyone wanting to give threading a try instead of going to those silly kiosks at the mall. I will definitely come back with my friends.

Kamna is very attentive and very personable. She takes care of you and gets the job done what ever your needs may be. My daughter and I both goes to her. I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of her services.

I am very pleased with my eyebrows. All of the good comments are true. I have finally found someone that can shape my fine brows and not make them too thin!

Kamna is awesome! I went to her for the first time today after being recommended by a friend and reading other reviews about her on Unilocal.She was very sweet, quick and tried to keep up conversation when she knew I was visibly in pain. I would definitely recommend and will be returning next month!

For quite sometime I have threaded my eyebrows. I have even learned to do it myself, but can only successfully do my right brow. So, I researched places on Unilocal and found Kamna. I loved her! Kamna is quick, efficient, and most of all skilled! She told me that she previously owned a clothing/​threading spot in Langley Park. Apparently, all of her customers followed her to this location (her garage). I would too! I recommend her to everyone. I got my eyebrows threaded and a facial wax (sideburns) all for $ 28!

I have the case of uneven eyebrows and Kamna fixed it! and for only $ 10. She does the threading out of her house in a very nice neighborhood. I recommend A++ for Kamna. Thanks for the great eyebrows!

I wanted to try her out a few times before giving a solid review… and I’m so happy that I did!
Not only is she professional and courteous, she has an excellent technique when it comes to threading. Some people split the hair right at the top (similar to shaving) where it looks smooth, but a few days later grows back. This is horrible for someone who gets any type of facial threading done. Especially women. I don’t want my lip to look fuzzy 4 days after an appointment.
However, Kamna has no issues when it comes to this. She pulls hair right from the root. It takes a few minutes longer, but the area is always clean and smooth when she’s finished. I’m a little hesitant to get my eyebrows done again, but I think we had a miscommunication when I said, «Even them out». It resulted in eyebrows that looked a little too skinny… but it’s nothing that some pencil couldn’t fix. In fact, I’ve received so many compliments that it’s a little unnerving. Thanks Kamna!
The pricing is also cheaper compared to other areas. The downside? Her room is a little cold, since it’s located in what looks like the garage of her home.
Final verdict?
I’ll take the cold room, cheaper prices, and excellent technique over a pretty salon with employees that overcharge for mediocre service any day of the week.
