Ruffles of London

I went to Ruffles for the first time based upon the prior reviews of my fellow Unilocalers and wasn’t disappointed. My young daughter’s hair was trimmed by Ivy. She was gentle and kind, and did a precision A-​line bob that was well worth the $ 20. The salon is friendly, like going to a salon of favorite aunts who fawn all over you, and didn’t even blink when my younger child accidentally knocked over a plant (Sorry!)
Parking is ample to boot. We’ll be sticking with this salon and forgetting the higher price-​tag and lack of parking of our closer DC establishment. Saludos!

This is the best shop ever. I feel like I am in Europe having a hairdresser from The Netherlands! Thea is the most accurate in her hair cutting. She has cut my hair for over 30 years and I would highly recommend her for any hair type. Her oldest daughter has short hair, cut very much in style, she works in NYC and her youngest has very long hair, so Thea just can do it all! Very nice people, warm and I always feel lifted up by the great energy there.

I’ve been going to Eve since I was born pretty much. When I went away to college I had my hair cut by somebody else – once. And it paled in comparison to the quality and cost of Ruffles.
I’ve been getting my hair highlighted for about a year and a half now. It costs $ 150 for cut and color which is ridiculously cheap for the DC area. And I get compliments on my hair all the time including people who don’t even know that I color it (because it looks so natural). That is a true compliment.
Beth also did my hair for my sister’s wedding. It looked great and stayed put all day. Everyone here is extremely nice and has been working together for forever, so it also feels like a family. Highly recommended!
