I’m a big subway fan and last night we attended the jack and jack concert at the Fillmore. We are staying at the travel lodge next to this subway. Our subways at home stay open till 10 we had arrived at 9:25 and they were already closed! What really pisses me off is the neon sign on the window was still lit saying they were open and the sign by the door with the hours says they close at 9:30 so why was I denied service at 9:25? Seems to me they should be open other 5 minutes but they were already closed prior to us getting there and the employee couldn’t come to the door and refer us to another location?

Watched me put a dollar in the meter only to let me come in and tell me they don’t accept anything but cash. I think this place is owned by foreigners that don’t believe in debt or something but not sure. Hard to understand employee. No sign out front saying they hate anything but cash…

They never have spinach in stock! they’re not very nice either, and always have to repeat my order like 10x

Compared to Subway standards, this restaurant seemed a bit under the expectations. I’m a big Subway fan and always go to the one near my work. I decided to stop here and pick up dinner one night on my way back. It’s in the motel with parking which is awesome(especially so close to DC in downtown SS). Inside, the dining room is up front and the counter to place the order is back in some bunker area. To order, you have to speak to employees through a bullet proof glass with drill holes. They can barely hear you so be prepared and watch out for an error(like saying pickles and the guy reaching for onions). The glass is pointless which is the funny part because the cash register is completely unobstructed so hypothetically someone could still attack that employee or climb over the counter. This is not why I’m lowering my rating for this restaurant though. What really did it in for me on my visit to this location was the lettuce was visibly browning. Maybe it was just the bag and not an issue with this location itself. They also tended to skimp on the vegtables(not a huge deal because I’ll ask for more!) I’ll come back and give it another try. The location is too convenient with the parking and proximity to my home.

Not a subway fan to start with but it’s close by. Hard to understand employee. Had to repeat order many times. Checkout took forever.

I go to this subway a couple times a month because it is close to my job. The employees are a little rude, however they are always busy during the time I go… that may be why. Plus I can barely understand them. Pretty spacious inside… the biggest subway I have ever been inside.

While the quality of food is excellent and their dining area has bistro tables, arm chairs, a plasma television, and a fireplace, the service is some of the worst I have seen from a Subway. There is a full floor-to-ceiling window in front of the food, so it makes it nearly impossible to communicate with the employees apart from shouting, reading lips, and pointing.

This Subway actually has distinctive décor, what with the TV showing cable news and, I believe, a fireplace. Plus, the building is kind of part of the neighboring motel. The food is regular Subway, however.
