I started my locs in April of 2007. Living in the Baltimore… I tried a million stylists in the area and I could write a small book about my horror stories. Of 7 years, none of the stylists that serviced me were much concerned with the hair health or educating their clients. I finally decided to start maintaining my own locs b/c I refused to continue spend money on services that I was not satisfied with. Other than when I do them myself, my locs had never been given the TLC that I received from Tia«Versatility» Blake at her salon. After 7 years, I finally found a person who cared for my locs as if they were her very own. She also shared a wealth of knowledge on issues I have with my scalp which is a something I could never put a price on. I received tips on loc/scalp/hair health that will serve me as long as I have hair on my head(which I hope is a very long time). Not sure why it took so long to find a stylist of her caliber but I couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommended if courtesy, satisfaction, and customer service is important to you. She’s in a league of her own.
