I’m giving them an extra star because the store is always clean and organized. However, I never get service here, and yesterday was the second time I brought home clothes that still had security tags attached. I came in to get some new work pants, and I am still in the process of losing baby weight, so I had to get dressed multiple times and keep grabbing different sizes. I eventually grabbed one that fit, but I would have bought a lot more if it wasn’t so exhausting running back and forth.

I like the products they offer and pricing is usually fairly good. Just wish I didn’t have to hunt so hard to find a clerk to help me.

11÷2÷2013: If you want terrible customer service ask for Mary in the bedroom department. Although I’ve received great customer service from one associate in the I.N.C. department at this store most of the associates who work here are not really friendly. !!! It is like night and day… Completely different experience I must review. See updates below. 04/29/2015: I wanted to recognize the associate who helped me today with a friends wedding gift. Heidi was the perfect example of an excellent customer service associate who went above and beyond my expectations. She actually went and retrieves my purchase for me while I waited at the counter(how sweet) after helping me print out the registry for my friends wedding, gave me some helpful gift wrap suggestions and also packaged my purchase very nicely all with a great attitude and smile to boot. experienced the worst customer service with the lady sales staff assigned at the jewelry dept on mar 3, 6:15pm shift, of macy’s in silverdale. i was unhappy with an online purchase so i brought it for an exchange. the lady at the counter was obviously irked when i interrupted her apparently doing some paperwork. when she saw what i had, she said that it’s really the worst thing to buy jewelry online. reluctantly showed me some diamond studs, and since i sensed that she was not in the mood to help me, i asked if she can facilitate shipping my item instead. then she started with a barrage of, «this is such an inconvenience, why don’t you just ship it yourself. didn’t it come with a return label. Oh wait, I found it and like I said it’s on sale. Whoever bought it got it at a really low price. Now, I have to manually price it based on your receipt. Hmmph, really such an inconvenience.» after a tense process of finally getting a gift card back, i said sorry for the trouble, to which she uttered with an «ugh» and turned her back. i was so shocked not so much on how she treated me but more on the fact that she works in a retail business focused on delivering quality customer service. i was so appalled that i immediately left the mall. i believe that management should review this particular staff’s concept of customer service.

A while ago I came here looking to buy gifts for my overseas family. Not knowing what I wanted, I started browsing the perfume counters. The women that were working that day were incredibly rude and snobby. I have a very youthful appearance so I can only assume they treated me that way because they thought I was not able to purchase anything. I was completely put off by their attitude and I headed over to the Estee Lauder counter where the women were the total opposite — they were courteous and helpful. In the end, I spent over $ 300 worth of cosmetics at their counter and I hope they earned a decent commission from that. As for the perfume women that work at Silverdale Macy’s, get an attitude adjustment.

I purchased a sectional couch from the Macy’s store in Silverdale Washington at the end of Sept, After having it delivered and having my family sit on it, the cushions ride out forward and will not stay on the couch. After any length of time on the couch the cushion will almost push entirely to the floor! It was a sectional and the Chaise lounge on one side also will not stay on top of the base. After about a week I called the store and they had me call customer service. The sent a technician out a month later and told me that the couch was not defective but it was designed for 6 foot tall people, that my family was too short for this set! Then she called customer service who told me that they was nothing they would do to repair and that they would not offer a refund or an exchange! I ask for a supervisor and they finally after pleading that I was not happy about buying a couch that cushions will not stay on the couch, they said they take it back and charge me a %15 restocking fee which amounts to over $ 200. And then I would also have to repay for delivery $ 150.after I select another set! Does this seem fair that I am penalized for a buying a couch that was not advertised as a tall persons couch and that the cushions will not stay in place!!! HELP! I am a Military spouse with a deployed husband and I want everyone to know that MACYS does not stand behind their merchandise!!! I am also filing a case with the BBB!

I have been to other locations and have seen brands carried at Nordstrom. I do not understand why the silverdale locations brands and selection is so bad when other locations carry some of the top brands. The shoe department has gone down hill over the past couple years and unless you need tights or something basic it’s just not worth going there at all. If Macy’s silverdale wants to get us to shop there how about pay attention to what’s in and bring us some good stuff! There are plenty of great price friendly brands out there. Bloomingdales has succeeded in mixing lower priced cool stuff with top pricier designers. Perhaps you should take a peak at what they do!

The best our mall has to offer. The store selection is small but adequate. To do any real damage to my Macy’s card I’d have to go to Seattle though… something I don’t get around to doing often so I’m sure my husband is grateful for that.
