Not impressed at all. We had a big party come through after a day of skiing and got served promptly but food was well below average. I ordered the two enchiladas(one chicken one pork) and they were just ok. Not great at the least. The pitcher of margarita tasted really watered down. Won’t be coming back.

Beautiful mountain town. Obviously high end community this place did not meet expectations. Service was ok, kind of dry, food was just ok, kind of bland, and prices are high. Margarita was ok but I’ll prepared. If in this area I would try something else.

Stopped by for dinner with a friend– we usually go to Hacienda Real in Frisco, but decided to switch it up and try somewhere new. After being seated in a nearly empty restaurant, it took our server over ten minutes to even ask if we wanted something to drink. I ordered shredded beef tacos and a margarita. The margarita was alright, but my tacos came swimming in oily water and with clumps of moldy cheese on top. Five minutes later, when I finally got the server’s attention to show her the mold, she took the plate back and brought back new tacos sans cheese(still swimming in oily water). They were mediocre at best. Not impressed and I won’t be back.

This place is actually cool. They are there to serve you and don’t act to cool. Like at some places … Where it’s almost the customer is treated like they are bothering the person by showing up, really why did you even come to work? but these people actually come to work to do a good job! The food is consistent and good… best things to order our carne Asada plate(it’s super big) and extra crispy chimichanga with chorizo

Silverthorne, Colorado– This is our second time eating here and we will be back. It’s in a strip mall and isn’t the most beautiful venue but its quaint interior with metal cacti lanterns and paintings of Mexican characters that make you smile is a fun lunchtime setting. The menu is varied with quite a few vegetarian options and everything was made to order and relatively quick coming to us. It’s a decent go-to.

The location needs updating on Unilocal. But I ate here and it was the worse«Mexican» food I have ever had… I ordered the fiesta specialty enchiladas and chili relleno w/a 3rd regular beef enchilada… It was some of the worse food I have ever ingested… Pretty sure they were just cooking up TV dinners in back and neatly plating em… Go to the local grocery store and pick up some $ 1 Mexican TV dinners at least you will know they were cooked per the instructions.

We were driving back to Denver so stopped to have lunch. The lunch menu is reasonable, the food pretty good and the service excellent. You get a pitcher of water and chips with a spicy salsa as soon as you sit down. We were going to go to the Sunshine Café but the wait was going to be too long for our liking; I think we made the right choice

Not bad, not great. Typical Mexican fare. Large portions. Dining room seems a little dirty and part of it seems to be used for storage. Food was good but not exceptional.

After a long morning of driving through mountain passes we arrived in Silverthorne hungrily looking for a place to eat. As a touristy ski town, I can’t say we had an abundance of unique choices, but we decided Mexican food sounded good. It was early in the afternoon, so the restaurant was pretty quiet. I ordered the«Fiesta Jalisco Enchilada», and we of course enjoyed the standard chips and salsa while waiting for our food. Positives: –Menu fits the standard Mexican sit-down restaurant. Chips and salsa were very good. –Definitely one of the better choices in a ski town full of chain restaurants. –Excellent service with very friendly servers. Negatives: –Located in a strip mall location. Despite that, the inside of the restaurant was nice enough. –The food and menu was just a little too average. Nothing terrible, just nothing that fantastic. This was a decent stop in Silverthorne — and it’s certainly a better option than some of the chain places in the area. Is it the best Mexican food ever? Hardly. But it’s average, and it will certainly be decent enough for most.

Post skiing hunger setting in? Visit their Silverthorne or Breck locations. I think the menus are the same, the food is great, big portions and affordable. I enjoy the BURRITOLOCOAZADO(Crazy Donkey) — Flour tortilla filled with thin sliced skirt steak, rice, refried or Rancho beans, green onions, and tomatoes — topped with melted cheese, salsa especial, salsa ranchera, sour cream and guacamole. It’s huge and filling and around $ 12. Check out my picture.
