Caffe Connections is a break away from the norm of all the big chain coffee houses. It’s locally owned and operated and it’s got a very cozy feel. The coffee tastes great and the service is excellent. I have yet to wait more than a couple min to get served. They have large enough tables to gather several friends to chat with. Next time you think of coffee in Simi, stop by Caffe Connections

I come here every Saturday to study. It is always a relaxing atmosphere and never too busy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to study. They also have breakfast and lunch items available all day. The staff is always very welcoming and will greet you as you come in. Very friendly!

Staff is so friendly. Cozy café to hang in and work. Free WiFi with a password, but wonky at times. Iced coffee was forever bitter, even with 5 packets of sugar. Super comfortable chairs that I sat on for hours. Outdoor seating available too. Absolutely try the banana pecan bread!

Meh don’t really care for this place. I’ve had a multitude of drinks, ranging from espresso to black coffee and nothing strikes me as great. Guess it’s pretty suitable for Simi Valley though lol

We stopped in here while in Simi Valley. Really good bagels and breakfast croissant sandwiches. This is a great place to stop for coffee and quick food. The staff was very friendly as well and the place was clean and had a cool design. I would highly recommend this coffee shop.

I stumbled upon this little gem looking for a quick stop while on the road for work one day and I was not disappointed! The atmosphere was so welcoming and comforting that I ended up enjoying myself for well over an hour. I got a delicious iced tea and coffee cake. I was impressed by the one employee behind the counter, who juggled multiple orders at a time and made each guests experience feel personal. I will certainly be stopping here again when I’m in town!

Café Connections is a unique gem in Simi Valley. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the coffee is great. I usually order the regular coffee, however I had a cappuccino the last time I went there and it was excellent. They always have gluten free pastries, which is important for me. It’s a great place to study, or meet a friend. Suzanne, one of the owners, is friendly and personable, and makes you feel welcome.

First time here! With chilly winds picking up in town, I wanted to to settle down somewhere with a hot drink to get my day started. I ordered the egg and cheese bagel($ 3.95) because I noticed a review that mentioned these sandwiches being comparable to John’s Bagel Deli. I would have to disagree, the quality of the food seemed cheap, but it was at the very least hot, filling and eatable. I probably wouldn’t order a bagel here again, but they do offer croissant sandwiches and quiches as well that I might try next time I come in hungry. More importantly, my favorite go-to coffee is a Caramel Macchiato, hot or iced, because it’s the perfect balance of sweet and bitter that helps wake me up anytime of the day. I was not disappointed with my coffee experience here, bonus points for them serving it in a cup since I was staying awhile. The foam had a little bit too much caramel though(too sweet), so I think I’d ask for a lighter touch on that next time I come in. Other notes, they serve whatever you order to your table from what I’ve noticed, be it coffee and/or food. There are also lots of outlets that I’ve noticed on the walls and unlike any other mainstream coffee shop(I.e. Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Peet’s), the environment here is friendly and quiet, perfect for studying or having a conversation without worrying if you can hear the other person. The staff was friendly and the business picked up to a steady stream of people, yet despite there only being one working employee, the wait time wasn’t horrible.(Props to the young lady juggling a line of caffeine-hungry people so well.) For my first time being here too, I’m happy to say that I didn’t feel uncomfortable, but very welcome here. Lots of quirky chairs and tables to choose from. The walls are covered with paintings of all kinds, adding nice touches of color and personality to the place. Have yet to try the wifi here though, but it is offered here.

This place is an Oasis of quality and craftsmanship in a massive desert of corporately produced black liquid crap. One can sense(in many ways — not just taste) the care, precision, and commitment to one’s art that goes into every product these guys make. At least, that’s been my experience so far. I’ve waited to do this review because I wanted to make sure the quality and consistency were there. Trust me, they are. This little mom n’ pop establishment is well worth supporting. It compares w any metropolitan coffee house I’ve been to, whether it be Portland, Seattle, or even San Jose, CR(where they actually produce the stuff!). Seriously, treat yourself to a little $ 5 luxury and stop in here for your morning latte, or whatever. If your experience is anything like mine, it’ll take your morning from survival mode(must… have… caffeine!!!) to special.

Nice place. I only had a cup of drip coffee, but it was excellent. Place is very clean, yet not sterile looking. Barista was very friendly. If I was hungry I would have purchased a pastry. Would return.

Super friendly and great service. I got a mocha blended frappé and added raspberry. The taste and look definitely exceeded my expectations. The ambiance is nice offering many tables for different size groups. I wasn’t there to stay but it appears they had free wifi!

I’m giving this place 4 stars because it’s a pretty cool coffee shop for Simi Valley. It’s nice to come to my hometown and go to somewhere other than starbucks to have a latte and do some work. I ordered a dirty chai iced latte and it’s pretty good. A little on the sugary side but I think that is just likely to happen with chai lattes because syrup is used. A great environment with lots of chairs and tables, as well as a lot of menu options. I had some issues with the wifi which is pretty frustrating, but thankfully I didn’t need wifi that bad when I was there anyway. While it is a cool place to meet with a friend, get some work done, read, etc. DONOT come here if you are not going to order anything. This seems obvious but a couple people have tried to do that today and the staff is clearly no okay with it. If you come here, plan on supporting the business!

I did not enjoy this place. It was my first time here and the staff was rude & unwelcoming. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time I was here. The dessert case was unappealing and there was a paper sign taped to it saying«if you don’t see what you want, then we probably have it in the back just ask» I mean, why don’t you just put it in the case? What a strange thing to put a tacky sigh about. There was only one party of 3 in there and that was it and it took almost 5 minutes to be greeted. The products were awful and the staff was very unfriendly and awkward. Will not ever return here.
