Cammarano’s

We came on a Friday night. They had a live band that was excellent. The food, service and atmosphere was 5 Stars. I recommend the So Cal Burger and the Nachos. Both are excellent!
If you live in Wood Ranch Simi Valley, come have dinner and drinks at Cammarano’s. You won’t regret it!

Just came here for appetizers a a drink and it was fantastic. Had the Mac n cheese, mussels and shared a goat cheese and bacon burger. I have to be honest and say food was incredibly good and the Pickled Belvadere martini sounds strange but was so good it hard to explain. Its made from their house made pickle brine and the flavor is something special and a must try. Highly recommend this place, we came on Sunday afternoon and had a beautiful afternoon break here.

Very good home style cheese burgers. Portions are great, single burger is just the right size for lunch. The bun is not too big, so you can enjoy the real beef burger. If you are very hungry, you can add fries or a shake. Fast food with a home made taste. Some of the locations deliver.

Always love coming here with my friends! The staff is very friendly and the food never disappoints. I would highly recommend the curry burger or mac and cheese! Definitely one of my favorite spots, especially in the summer around the fire pit!

Love this place! Come here often to enjoy a cold brew and a delicious burger. Patio is excellent for small groups and allows you to get loud without disturbing any other patrons! My friends and I all love this little spot.

Great neighborhood bar/​grill in a part of wood ranch /​Simi Valley that really needs some night life.
They have great cocktails and have 805 on tap. I love their nachos, they are incredible. I’ve even had them for take out!

Bar tenders have a bad attitude. They brought me the wrong drink and gave me a attitude when I told her about it.

Holy cannolis!!! This place is awesome!!! Are you interested in the BEST BURGERS AND CHEESECAKE in Ventura county… possibly Los Angeles too… Go TO CAMARANO’S!!! Great bar, great food, best mac and cheese. That’s all we can attest to but, yes it was amazing! Great bar with bartenders that know how to make a nice drink that will make you happy. We have been there several times and Sarah Ann is our favorite server and bartender. She is nice, personable and knows her job and food and alcohol well, she is gorgeous too! Such a lovely young lady, she is honestly awesome! This place gets busy in the evening especially on the weekend when they have live music. Awesome experience for a fun night out with anyone! We came in tonight and hubs and I had the land and sea burgers, and mac and cheese! Everything was fantastic and I was very impressed with the quality of the food and then came home and had a few bites of the Kailua cheesecake, seriously THE BEST cheesecake I have ever had! Go support small business and this awesome restaurant!

Nice little gastro pub with a local feel to it. I was staying with my aunt in Thousand Oaks and we found this place and wanted to give it a try. We came on a Saturday night and found a spot on the patio next to the heat lamps. It was pretty cold out so thankfully they had these.
So lets talk about the food. Menu is pretty straight forward, and skimming through the appetizers I knew that I had to try to brussel sprouts. I ordered up off the special menu and grabbed the steak tacos. Other people grabbed the breakfast burger (get this) and my wife grabbed the land and sea burger. So the food took a little while to come out. Could be something we ordered just took longer to make. Out came the sprouts and man they were tasty. Nice flavor to them, I recommend these to anyone, even if you dont like sprouts.
My tacos were pretty dang good. The meat was super tender and had a great flavor. My aunt had the chicken tacos and we swapped one for one. Her’s were good but mine was definitely better. My wife enjoyed her burger, and my nephew chowed down the breakfast burger so fast I dont think he even took a breath. :)
Overall a good experience. I do feel like the fries here could be a little better, they seem to come out a little on the softer side and kind of soggy. Ask them to make them well done if you want a crisper fry. The tap list they have could also be a bit bigger, they only have about 4 taps but you cant hold that against them as they can only work with the room they have. Either way they have a nice variety of beers. If you live around her and have not checked this place out, or you are a Bear’s fan you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit. CHEERS!

DO NOT go to this place. The food was so bad. The fries were soggy. The food was cold. The sauces were gross. All the food came out at different times so no one was comfortable eating before the others got food. The server Sara was terrible. She forgot to bring condiments. Forgot to bring drinks. It took her almost 45 minutes to pick up my payment after she delivered my bill. She blamed everything on the owner. I asked to speak to the owner and she kept telling me he was too busy to come to our table. Wow, what bad service and what a horrible owner. It was expensive too! The food was not worth the price nor the service. I will not go there again for sure.

This place is GOOD! Everything we have tried here has been delicious. I mean, where do you go and get a salad that you can’t stop raving over! I crave the G’s salad, so flavorful and has everything I love. Burgers are perfection and we love their sweet potato fries with garlic aioli. Tuna tacos are so yummy. We are sad they dont have the flatbreads anymore, it was a fave.
We love sitting out on the sweet patio but now it is getting cooler probably will be forced inside lol it isnt bad inside, Im just not a sports person and listening to men grunting and yelling at a tv is not my thing. BUT I’ll do it just to eat there. Great service too, always a sweet server!

Delicious chicken tacos, mixed with a good selection of craft beers make this tucked-​away restaurant a quiet place to enjoy dinner on a late weeknight. Next time I will have to stop by for the breakfast, heard it is even better than their dinner menu.

If I could give negative stars I would. We have loved coming here since they opened maybe 10 years ago. The menu is always changing… For the worse!!! What happened to the awesome bbq pork sandwich and the amazing CAB sliders? The menu may be larger (in size alone, not content), but the choices are slim and my favorites keep disappearing from the menu. Like the RED BLEND WINE!

I haven’t been back in awhile so I figured it was time to come back. WOW, the bar tables have been updated to a gastropub feel with long wooden tables and updated wall décor. I was floored when I walked in and so so impressed. The menu is in an «official» looking format.
The food has been amazing since I’ve started becoming a customer and decided to order the mussels tonight, a burger, AND the carrot cake.
It’s just as tasty and flavorful as I remember. If you get a chance try Cammarannos, you will not regret it!

Last min. decisions are the best. This place is packed there is a show and the fit us in as walk ins. Our drinks are good and the girls here are sweet. My fiancé is enjoying my surprise evening here. Good times. Food selection is ok not great mmmmmm can’t wait to try it soon and report back. They are open late which is a nice change.

Absolutely appalling! We gave this place a shot by the amount of good reviews it had on Unilocal,what a joke! $ 11.00 (overpriced for the quality) for burgers that don’t even come with a side of fries, so we had to order them, they were also very soggy. Everything on the kids menu is $ 7.5 and didn’t even taste good. The Mac and cheese was disgusting and we sent it back, along with the Nachos (that didn’t even have cheese in them)! The only good thing I can say about this place is that they have a good variety of beers and the meat in the burger tasted pretty decent. But if your looking for a quick bite and a quality burger, go to Cronies, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to eat here on a lark. Just happened to be in this shopping center, hungry and there tucked away in the corner is this little eating establishment. Based on the name, we figured it would be a posh little restaurant, but it’s actually a bar and grill, with a strong emphasis on grill. They also have numerous TV’s in this joint, so during game time, I’m sure it’s extremely lively. Fortunately they were all off while we ate.
To start, the facility is well kept, organized and very clean. That’s important. Second, the service was incredible as well. The waitress was very courteous, attentive and was right on top of everything we needed. Superb!
The food was a little on the kitschy side but was excellent. I had the Bleu bacon burger, which is actually served on a Ciabatta bun and it was absolutely delicious. Very filling for a smaller burger too… The drinks were great and when we left, the bill was completely reasonable. I will definitely seek Cammarano’s out in the future, just not during game time…

Been here quite a few times over the years. They got live music on the weekends and the crowd is usually upper to middle age wood ranch folks. The owner has a good presence in the place which is always nice and all the servers they have on duty are always accomodating. The prices aren’t bad ranging from $ 8-​$ 24.
Reccomendation
Chipotle Avacado Burger. It’s pretty great. The bun is above par and the aioli they put on there works great with the meat quality and garnasishes.
They also do breakfast and that’s only during football season. If i was ranking this place just on breakfast it’d be a 5. They do a french toast with hawaaian rolls that drives me crazy. They also do a breakfast style nacho which is perfect with a bloody mary and the game on.
Parking is always tight especially for dinner time with Viva La Pasta taking up a good amount of the space.
Would def stop by if your in the area

Just my luck, my favorite items removed from the menu. First, it was the fish and chips, and now the best burgers I’d ever eaten are half their former size. It’s not a bad idea but they’re just not the same. The burgers were large enough before that my wife and I would split one.
Cammarano’s offers a few steaks, but offer no sauces what-​so-​ever and no side with the steak. I have never had a steak of this size without an au poivre, peppercorn, béarnaise or red wine sauce. No matter how good a steak is, after a few bites you just need another flavor. A truly great sauce makes a good steak even better.
When a restaurant makes something really, really well it should be a staple of the restaurant regardless of menu changes. It’s pointless to review a great burger if when someone goes in to get one, they’re no longer on the menu.
Cammarano’s is a very nice restaurant — too nice for the waitresses to be wearing gym clothes. They don’t look like employees and they’re often the most underdressed in the restaurant. Black pants, white shirt and maybe a black tie is professional, traditional and makes the employee easily recognized as a server.
