We have used them for years on a every three months plan. Very happy customer.

I had what turned out to be a single rat in the attic.
They set traps and got him.
They were fast and fair.
I’d use them again.
I most likely will need to.

The owner is literally the rudest person Ive ever met on this planet. They performed additional services that I clearly and specifically declined over the phone (while I was not home) and my husband was home and had no idea about what I had asked the company to do so when they finished, my husband went ahead and signed the invoice and paid. Later I called the company to ask why they did these extra services and he started yelling at me and saying my husband was dumb to not look at the invoice before paying, and was just saying smart-​ass comments. Never apologized or offered to reimburse us or credit us. What doesn’t even make sense too is that one of these additional services that I declined would have required some prep work on my part that I never even did (I think they needed me to cover my beds and couches with plastic or tarps or something, I forget the exact details of that) so how is it that they still did the work? Didn’t add up. He’s just plain mean and greedy. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I was interested in finding out about treating my lawn for Fleas and was doing some comparative shopping. I consider myself a loyal customer so I tried calling Carters for a discussion on what they would quote.
I played phone tag with them at least 10x’s and the owner sounded extremely irritated at even having to make a phone call. I wanted a straight direct professional answer. This never happened.
Once I did speak with the owner he just went off about how difficult the laws are and how hard his business is… really!
I called for a quote, not to listen to his ranting! When I told him I was not interested in any of that he became VERY RUDE and ANGRY… He told me to go with another company and literally hung up on me. The worst customer ever!
Sad, all I wanted was a quote!!!

I’d use them for several years and they’re very reliable and friendly. they use chemicals that are not harmful to humans and animals. what made me write in that I had a fly problem and instead of selling me hundreds of dollars worth of product or treatment he just recommended several things I can get at Home Depot or even a baggie a water above my patio. who does that. honest people that want business I will always referred them and only them to people with past problems. FYI Termine next would not even come out for a problem they want to sign you up for a yearly contract which is a bunch of BS. John Carter is the best pest guy around! He uses natural product to kill ants and other undesirable creatures. Although he always recommends regular maintenance, I rarely have to because once he sprays, I have no more worries!!! He is absolutely the best! Don’t waste your time with the other big name companies. John shows up when scheduled and is so easy to work with… Great guy!!!
